FORE Review

I choose FORE since it's one of the most coveted institutes for MBA in the country, placements are good and it's close to my place. My admission process was in Feb 2020 and it was a very smooth process that consisted of a business quiz, a writing ability test and PI along with an extempore.

We have an erudite and knowledgeable faculty here at FORE and most of the faculty have done P.hd in their respective fields from premium institutions like IITs and IIMs and taught there as well. Term exams are always on time and it's not rocket science to pass exams listening to lectures is sufficient for preparations.

Many companies have visited the campus for the SIP process like GEP, ITC, RBI, NABARD, JLL, SABIC, CISCO, Shoppers stop to name a few and till now around 50% of the batch have got SIPs from the college itself

Since there's slack in the business all over the world and that has a direct impact on recruitment so the placement process is slow-moving but things are getting back into action and hopefully by next year we'll have more companies visiting the campus.

Fees are pretty high at 15 lacs for the whole course but then college also helps you to grab a decent paying job from which you can recoup your two years fees even in a year. (If you're lucky enough). The minimum package is around 7 LPA.

College cultural fest is held in November every year but this year it was delayed due to Covid and sadly the fest was held online. Due to online classes, I've never been to the library but college provides us with the books at the starting of every term which can be collected from the college gate.

The very first thing during the process was a business quiz followed by a written ability test and there was no GD but an extempore during the PI and my topic for extempore was - Is vocational education important in India? To prepare for the process I used to read the Hindu newspaper to stay updated with the business news which helped a lot with the business quiz.
