It provides the opportunity of pursuing PGDM BDA. It is included in tier 2 college providing placement better than the option in hand. Also, it was near my house. FORE lies in Qutub institutional area surrounded by various colleges giving it a more educational environment which often other colleges lack
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is good. However, it could have included more number of big data analytics related courses. Like GIM offers it could have also offered a tool to be offered in every term. Learning in terms of practical knowledge provided is fairly low. Even after reaching semester 3, I haven't acquired a thorough knowledge of any particular tool.
Internships Opportunities
Yes, we have on campus placement offers. The internship is mainly in the marketing domain. Then HR and Finance. Other specialisations are neglected. Stipend has great variation 2-3 company gave a stipend of about 50000 approx. Most companies gave a stipend near 5000 to 10000. Some have only certificate as well.
Placement Experience
The placement committee works day in day in and out to get students placed. However, the focus is mainly on marketing probably because they are easy to get. Other domains are often neglected. BDA despite being one of the specialisations has only received 2-3 companies providing Data Analysis or Analytics as a job role for a summer internship.
Fees and Financial Aid
Since this year everything went online the fees. asked had no concession even though college saved significantly on various aspects. We have to submit fees in 4 instalments. The college was considerate enough to have extended the deadline to submit fees due to covid. Giving time for people who faced issue due to covid.
Campus Life
The college campus is small to accommodate such a big strength. Since the process is online they are trying to build infrastructure to accommodate the strength. Because of covid, we are unable to be at the campus and enjoy campus life. I am a part of the event organising committee and despite covid, the committee is still in full functioning
Interview Experience
The process was conducted online we had ai interview with 3 people in the panel. They asked me about why this course, interest, past experience etc. Then we had extempore. The topic was online learning. I had to speak on this topic for about a minute. Post this I received a mail for selection from the college.
