IIM Nagpur, even though being a third-generation IIM, has been one of the fastest-growing IIM. The admission process starts around march, and IIM Nagpur's admission process is not a part of the common admission process. Even during the pandemic, the admission team managed the admission process was very well. The main reason for preferring this college was 100% placements, ROI, and the IIM tag.

IIM Nagpur has a highly qualified faculty with immense experience in various industries. The faculty to student ratio is also good. Every term has a mid-term and an end-term. The weightage of the exams for the final grade varies from subject to subject. The course consists of other components as well such as class participation, quizzes, simulations, group projects, presentations, etc. Even though the difficulty varies depending on the subject, most of the students clear the exams without any issue.

Many prominent recruiters have offered summer internships this year. Diverse roles in marketing, finance, operations, etc. have been offered by the recruiters. Over 100 recruiters from various sectors such as FMCG, ed-tech, e-commerce, consulting, analytics, BFSI, oil & gas have visited the campus. The average stipend stood at 60k for the current year.

The placements are completely student-driven, the student body drives the placements, Since its inception, the college has recorded 100% placements. The average package of the previous batch is around 13.13l.

The cost for the postgraduate program in IIM Nagpur is around 1375000. The other charges which are incurred by the students are the mess charges and other living expenses. It is easy to avail of a loan in most banks at a low-interest rate. There are scholarships offered in the college as well.

Due to the pandemic, the first 2 terms were held online. Events and club activities took place online. Currently, IIM Nagpur is operating from the VNIT Nagpur campus and would be moving to the permanent Mihan campus very soon.

The hostel rooms are allotted on a single shared basis. The food served in the college mess is very hygienic and it also has a night canteen as well. The academic blocks are very close (a 5 min walk) to the hostel blocks. There are no separate fees for the hostel, it is included in the 13.75 l itself.

Generally, the admission process is similar to that of the rest of the IIMs, which is Written ability test and personal interview. Due to the pandemic, the admission process consisted of the screening process based on the composite score obtained from the academics (10th, 12th, and graduation) and professional experience. Then the next was an online interview. My interview was mostly related to my work experience, mathematics, and general knowledge.
