As this institute is integral part of Allahbad university, sometime there is delay in decision which impact recruitment & campus.

Entrance Preview

At my time, it was through merit and anyone who completed science graduation can apply. Now a days, it is through AICTE at national level and after 12th standard.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course is so huge as it took students who have completed science graduation. So they took lots of subjects and covering major portfolio of electronics & communications.

Internships Opportunities

There was no stipend offered by any company for internship. However, students are favoured for internship in VSNL, SCL, BARC, BELL, DRDO, ISRO, Doordarshan, ITI etc.

Placement Experience

4.5

Usually, students preferred IES after this. However, trend got changed after reservation. Placement was quite good. BT, Samsung, Reliance etc came for campus interview and offered till 6L p.a in year 2000.

College Events

Lots of events happened like conferences, workshops, annual functions, project discussion, sports meet, industrial tour, participation in events of other engineering colleges etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

There were two scholarship offered. I am not remembering the exact name. However, there are some scholarship offered by DRDO as well for bright student which they usually recruited during campus only.

Campus Life

Institute functions and hostel functions are totally different. There are lots of clubs in every hostel and they compete on regular basis. However as I told earlier, there were several events in college as well like sports meet, annual function, seminars, workshops etc. Diversity is around 20%.

Alumni/Alumna

There is very strong alumni network. Institute do alumni meet every year and celebrating silver & golden jubilee of every session. Apart from official alumni association, there are numerous informal alumni network as well. Alumni love to meet their juniors and help in every aspect.

Placement Experience:

After 6 th semester you are eligible for campus placement. Many companies are comes likes Accenture, Cognizant, Wipro, TCS, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Cagegimini etc and they offer decent package. Highest package 3000000 and average package 400000 and profile offered as for company required. 80 percentage student get placement. Take a placement in good MNC company.

Actually I didn't research on the placement. But in college campus I saw many boards of placed students and the average package is around 4-4.5lakh per annum.and college data says about 90%of students are placed. I am preparing for both off-campus and on campus placement.

Our college offer good placement it has average placement of 11 Lpa. Highest package of 52 lpa in Google. There are many company like TCS, L&T, GOOGLE, MICROSOFT, IBM and many more visited our college. If you have CGPA greater than 7 then you are eligible for maximum placement drive. My plan is to get government job.

I choose this course because I want to be a software developer. The faculty are very kind and helpful. Almost every faculty member has completed there post-graduation from various established colleges. The examination scheme is a little bit slow here. Students can pass their semester exams if they are paying at least 45 per cent of their concentration.

eligibility was student should be passed in intermiediate examination and he/she should pass joint entrance exam(jee main) with rank around between 40k-100k for general candidate. application form of jee main is available on official site of jee main. yes,there are reservation benefits for the reserved category.they can easily get the hostel accomodation .and fee waiver is also there for reserved category. admission process takes too much of time . like my admission process delays for more than two weeks ....Read More
