Remarks
The great reputation, International Exchange Program, Placement Scenario, Course Curriculum are some of the reasons behind my choosing this place. After getting shortlisted by CAT Result, I appeared for the Written Aptitude Test followed by a Personal Interview. My first year of MBA has almost come to an end and how much I have grown in this one year, I feel blessed to be at this institute.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is great and it covers all the areas: Finance, Marketing, Operations, Analytics, Economics, Human Resource Management, Legal Aspects of Business. For MBA'05 there were 4 sections for a total of 227 students. Faculty members make the class very interactive and students also take great initiative. There are a total of 6 terms for 2 years ; 3 terms for each year. There are weekly quizzes and mid-term & final exams each semester. If one studies regularly, one can score well.
Internships Opportunities
The internship recruitment is great. Many companies recruit for all domains. Students have a lot to chose from. Students give their best and students work on their CV. INR 45k was the average stipend for MBA'04.
Placement Experience
Campus placements are great. Almost 100% of the students get placed. Companies like Diageo, Paytm, Kotak, HCL, Vedantu come for recruitment. Students give their best. There are Live Projects also for industry engagement.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees for MBA 2020 batch is around Rs.14 lakhs. There are scholarships for the needy. Moreover, Banks give educational loans to IIM students at less rate of interest. There are compulsory summer internships. Most of them are paid.
Campus Life
There are many student committees and clubs. These organize events and sessions regularly. The students are very dedicated to their clubs and committees and execute all the tasks in time. I recommend the upcoming batch to partake in such activities.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel infrastructure is great. There is a neat & clean mess. The hostel is affordable. Everything is neat and spacious. There is a gym. There is playing ground. Students are free to decorate their rooms.
Interview Experience
After CAT there was WAT followed by PI. One must read the newspaper daily and should be well aware of the current happenings. One must be well versed with the history of one's backgrounds. One must have great fluency in the English language. One must take some mock interviews before the main interview.
