Remarks

I have chosen this college because this a government college, as well as faculties, are from IIT and other reputed colleges across India. But I did not recommend this college to anyone because of undeveloped and under-construction campus maybe it takes 5 to 6 year and as well as there are no facilities available.

Course Curriculum Overview

I have chosen B.tech because I interested in building new things and the faculties are very good some of them are from IIT and some are from IIIT and NIT. There is two class test in each semester and to pass exam quite easy but you have to be prepared before exam not to do preparation in one day.

Placement Experience

There is no campus placement or campus internship till now currently I'm in 3rd year of graduation and I really don't know that campus placement is available in future or not. In this college, all the faculty are focused on GATE EXAM or you can say academics. After getting my degree I looking for off-campus placement in the field of software development.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure is quite decent you should have to pay 60k per year for your academics and you will get a refund of all your fees through the scholarship you have to pay only for your own expenses because almost all your academics fees are refunded by scholarship which is provided by up government and it's around 50k to 70k depending on the category.

Campus Life

In REC KANNAUJ there are two fests one is abhiyutthan which is a techno - cultural fest and the other one is utkrida which is and sports event. technical fest in the month of November and sports event in the month of February. The library is well arranged and maintained having a nice collection of books and journals. There are many clubs like technical club sports clubs social security and fine art club.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel is available only for 1st-year students when you get admission in college it offers to you choose a hostel. Mess food quite decent no menu for non-vegetarian-only veg food available there. The hostel is quite good having wifi connectivity. If you are not interested in the hostel then you have to search for rental rooms and pg which are 2-3 km away from college.

After 6 th semester you are eligible for campus placement. Many companies are comes likes Accenture, Cognizant, Wipro, TCS, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Cagegimini etc and they offer decent package. Highest package 3000000 and average package 400000 and profile offered as for company required. 80 percentage student get placement. Take a placement in good MNC company.

Our college offer good placement it has average placement of 11 Lpa. Highest package of 52 lpa in Google. I choose this course because I want to be a software developer. The faculty are very kind and helpful. Almost every faculty member has completed there post-graduation from various established colleges. The examination scheme is a little bit slow here. Students can pass their semester exams if they are paying at least 45 per cent of their concentration.

I applied to all of the up government colleges[ like IET, KIET, etc] in UP as I don't take admission in Private colleges once because, according to me they are not money to worth it. As per my JEE rank i got this college when i fill college choice i put this college as a priority. To get this college if you get 90 plus percentile in JEE is enough for computer science branch and 70 - 80 for other branches not other special requirement for admission in this college, admission procedure is basically offline you have to reach the college for admission. 1) so many colleges in UP like IET Lucknow, REC Ambedkar Nagar, BIET Jhansi, KNIT Sultanpur were there but in none of them my admission got confirmed.
