Growing IIM Amritsar

Good- Growing at a faster rate, placecom is really active, supportive colleagues, college takes effort to improve the conditions, mess people are also good, food is average to above average. Bad- Temporary campus is the only concern but that will also be sorted soon. College is preferred as it is growing fast. Placecom is really active and the administration is completely supportive. Use pagalguy.

This course I chose because I wanted to pursue management right after my BBA, There is one faculty per 55 students which is a good number. Teachers are minimum PhD from prestigious institutes of the country and abroad. Each one has their own teaching skills and is mostly good. Exams are very frequent with even quicker quizzes. The difficulty level is generally above average but a lot of learning is involved.

Adobe, Cipla, Capital Foods, Kenmentors Xiaomi, Kotak Mahindra, Jio are some of the good companies visited. Stipend for these were around 1 lakhs for 2 months. Projects and outcomes are yet pending so can't tell definitely.

From the 4th semester, we become eligible for placements. There are many good companies that visited campus like Xiaomi, Accenture, Dell etc. We can't reveal the highest and lowest package as of now but it is decent enough I can assure for a student being an IIM student.

The fee is not hiked frequently. The total course fee including hostel fees is 120000 lakhs. Only mess fee is given separately each term. I am currently in the first year of my MBA and I am still not placed to reveal the company.

Aarunya is the annual fest and it is most;y conducted in February. There are many books and journals access given through both online and offline mode. Classrooms are well, equipped with boards, smart boards, furniture, podium, ACs, electric equipment etc. Kritansh is an annual sports event conducted. There are 9 clubs and 10 committees in the college.

Rooms are given in fat and it is extremely good. You have a kitchen, 2 washrooms and 2 big rooms with a hall as well. What more do you expect. Moreover, regular cleaning is done. Hostel fees is included in the total fees themselves.

A written WAT was conducted. The topic I have forgotten has it has been more than a year now. After WAT, we were sent to different panels. And, then the interview went for an average of 20 minutes for each student. I basically read about the current affairs and college related news.
