Remarks
The best part of our college is the fees of this college and placement. As this is a state government college, it's fees is very low in comparison to all other colleges i.e approx 2.5 lakhs for a complete 4-year course including hostel and mess charge. For admission, we have applied for JCECEB counselling after attempting the JEE Mains. Seats were allotted according to the merit list which was prepared on the basis of your JEE Mains rank by JCECEB. Here, if you belong to OBC, SC and ST then you also get a scholarship from E-Kalyan (approx 20K per year).
Course Curriculum Overview
I have chosen the ECE department because it is the most stable and developing department and I also love Electronics from childhood. I think this is one of the toughest department of Engineering. There were many papers we have to read. Here, the facilities are quite good, some are researchers and completed PhD from reputed IITs. The students and teacher ratio are good. We can ask any doubts any time, we have also their contact no. As well as WhatsApp no. The examination is done from time to time. Here we have supposed to give 2 Mid Semester exam, Viva (external comes from IIT-ISM Dhanbad) and End semester exam. 75% attendance is mandatory for giving the End Semester exam.
Internships Opportunities
Our college helps the students to get an internship in mainly core companies like Tata Steel, CCL and many more. For an internship in tech companies, we have to apply separately and get a referral from our alumni which helps a lot.
Placement Experience
We have recruitments every year. Companies like Vedanta, AVG, TCS, Wipro, Tata Steel, DVC, SAIL, L&T, Tata Hitachi, ZS Association, Usha Martin etc come for recruitment. The average package is 3-4 lacs per annum. The placement ratios vary from branch to branch like 98% for metallurgy. TCS and Wipro are the mass recruiter. About 82% of students in Electronics and communication branch gets placed.

Campus Life
Campus life is interesting in BIT Sindri, as the gender ratio is 8:1 here. Extracurricular, Labs, Workshop, Sports competitions are happening all around the year. Political influence is very low here. The environment is quite secular and students from all religions are studied here. In BIT Sindri, there are about 16 clubs like a Model club, Arts club, Sports club etc. The events at BIT Sindri are very dynamic. The cultural fest BITAANSH is the all-time hit of the college. Some techfest is also quite good especially Sandhan conducted by Model Club is superb. If you want to contribute in social work the this is the great place, Prayas India is one of the social body which provides free education to the students of backward classes as well as poor children who don't afford a good education.
Hostel Facilities
BIT Sindri has a great infrastructure (about a 700-acre campus area). There is greenery all over the campus as the building occupies only 400 acres of total area. There are approx 29 hostels, boys and girls have a separate hostel. The mess is enough good as compared to other colleges, 24*7 water supply system. The hostels are also equipped with TV and Carrom board in the common room, volleyball court and a large terrace. Hostel fees:- 5,000/- (per year). Electricity bill:- 2,000/- (per year).
