Remarks
The good aspects of the college include its faculty, unique management course offerings (AI, Machine learning) and its alumni base. The cons include its location and its high fees. I preferred this college over others because of its alumni base and its start-up incubator program which is supported by NITIE Ayog of the Central government of India.
Course Curriculum Overview
The program is a two-year residential program. The student-faculty ratio is 20:1. The faculty pool includes national, international faculty and faculty with corporate experience of more than 10 years. The overall score is just not based on exams but also on projects, presentations and assignments.
Internships Opportunities
The average stipend offered is around Rs. 80,000 for two months. The highest% of students were placed in the BFSI sector (38.5%). The hey recruiters are Bridgestone, Ford, Karl Store, Ninjakart, Dell, Murugappa group etc.
Placement Experience
The top 10% of the batch secures an average placement of Rs.17.5 Lakhs. The overall average placement is around Rs 10 lakhs. The key recruiters are Nippon, Outlook, Dell, ITC, Infosys, HSBC Technologies etc.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees are on a bit higher side. The fees are subject to an increase as it is revised each year. Although, the institute was sensitive enough to reduce the fees for the 2020 batch due to COVID. It is easy to avail loan as it is a reputed college.
Campus Life
The student committees are 20 in number. It includes the Competition committee, Green committee, Consulting Committee, Analytics Committee, Placement Committee etc. Student clubs include the Film appreciation club, Editorial team, marketing team, fundraising team etc. SANGHMITRA is an annual cultural festival held here.
Interview Experience
My GD topic was 'Plastic Ban & its effectiveness in India'. The group discussion was well structured. Post the discussion we were given a minute to present our points. To nail PI I would suggest brushing your graduation topics really well and stay acquainted with national and international events.
