The pros of the institute include its very large and serene campus, its faculty and its rich alumni base. The cons include its location-not many corporate offices are located in its vicinity and the fees are quite high.
Course Curriculum Overview
The student-faculty ratio is 20:1. Each term includes a midterm and an end term exam. The overall score is based on in-class performance, projects, tests and scores of midterm and end term examination. The faculty includes both permanent faculty and visiting faculty. All have got the doctoral experience and a teaching experience of more than 5 years of experience.
Internships Opportunities
The average stipend is around Rs.75,000 for two months. Almost everyone gets a paid internship.142 students got placed and 76 companies visited the campus for summer placements. The highest stipend offered is around Rs.4.43 lakhs.
Placement Experience
The average placement is around Rs.10.45 lakhs. The highest package is Rs.21.5 lakhs. The key recruiters are JP Morgan, Dell, Nippon, HSBC Technologies, McKinsey, Crisil, Infosys, ICICI Bank, Ninjacart, Ford etc.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees are around Rs20 Lakhs. No scholarships are offered to any student either on an academic performance basis or the annual income of the family. Loans can be obtained from many banks with a minimum moratorium period of two years.
Campus Life
There are many student committees and clubs few of which are solely student driven. To name a few- We have a film appreciation club for films and video recording enthusiasts, FinCom, Green Committee, Analytics Committee, Marketing Committee, ADCom, ALcom and GLAA. The events held at GLIM include Sanghmitra-a cultural event and L'Attitude -a sports event.
