Remarks
The pros include its large state of the art infrastructure, alumni base and pedagogy. The cons include its less ROI as the average package stands around 10 lakhs but the fees are around 19 lakhs and yet, there is no scholarship. However, the pros outstand the cons and the college is really a decent one to study.
Course Curriculum Overview
There are many specializations offered- Marketing, Finance, OB-HR, AI and Machine learning, Operations and Analytics. There are 6 terms in total-3 in each year. The faculty is very learned and are from both India as well as from abroad.
Internships Opportunities
The average stipend is around Rs. 82000. The summer placements occur offering diverse and very rich job profiles. The sectors in which students are placed include BFSI, IT, Analytics, Financial Services, Manufacturing, Sales & Marketing and healthcare.
Placement Experience
The average placement is around Rs. 10 lakhs. For the top 10% of the batch, the average package stands around Rs.18 Lakhs. The highest package stands around Rs.21 lakhs. The companies coming to campus include ITC, Infosys, JP Morgan, KPMG etc.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees are Rs.19.82 lakhs. No scholarships are offered. The loans can be easily obtained as the college has great brand visibility and decent placements. The fees are updated each year. The college offers summer internship to the entire batch post the third term.
Campus Life
Sanghmitra is the annual cultural fest held at GLIM. The GREAT CIRCLE is an alumnus meet up kind of event held annually. Pay Pal & Great Lakes programs are also held. Few student committees and clubs to mention are-Green Committee, Food Committee, AdCom, Karma Yoga Committee, Film Appreciation Club etc.
Interview Experience
There is no WAT or group discussion process. The admissions are made in two cycles. The students can register in the second one if not cleared the first one and it is not mandatory to register in the first cycle itself. The interview questions included: Why MBA? Why marketing? State 2 famous marketing campaigns and my strengths.
