Remarks

I initially chose to attend HIT college because it is the best college in Dehradun for Agriculture. It is affiliated with HNB central university & SDS State University. The location of the college is very peace full and soothing. The admission process in the college was very smooth and the admin staff is also great.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because agriculture plays an important role in the Indian economy and I have an interest in plants. The course curriculum, academic and facilities all are good. Teachers in our college are knowledgeable and qualified. Teachers are very helpful and are open to answer students queries at all-time.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 75000 per year

Internships Opportunities

College also provides different internship opportunities. Different companies are there for internships like Dhunseri Tea & Industries Limited and many governments and non-government organizations. We get an appreciation letter after the completion of training.

Placement Experience

Students are eligible for campus placement in the last semester. Many companies like JK Agri, Genetics Ltd, HPC bioscience and many more companies with a nice package use to visit our college for the placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure of the college is quite affordable. The fees structure of the college within our means as compared to other colleges in Dehradun. They give us scope to pay fees in 2 to 3 instalment which was even better.

Campus Life

The journey in HIT is enthusiastic and full of entertainment. I have thoroughly enjoyed my college life. The whole year we celebrate a different occasion like Holi, food fest, teachers day and lots more. In our college, there are many clubs in which we can take part and continue our passion also like a sports club, cultural club, photography club and more.

Hostel Facilities

One of the best parts about the hostel is that it is situated close to the institute. Another important part of the hostel is food. The mess provides amazing food and especially on Sunday. Separate hostel facilities are provided to boys and girls. The furniture provided in the hostel rooms are beds, wardrobes, study tables and a chair.

Alpine group a completely Good choice for Agriculture.

Placement Experience:

The college has consistent placement record , reflecting strong academic, industrial training exposure.The placement cell also provide guidance for further and better opportunities, I guess there is no college which give direct placement for agriculture, yes we get to collaborate with many good training institutes and as far as i have seen majority of students go for Maters for the same course. In courses like AME, BHM, BCA & IT the college has significantlly good score, pharmacy department also has good no. of placements in MAX, Apollo, Cipla, Zydus lie companies.

Every course has different criteria for placement, there is a placement cell in the college which guide well and keep us updated for the drives. We have 100% placement record in AME,BHM , Pharmacy & BCA & IT courses. In my course we become eligible during 4th year (7th semester) where we can appear for the drive.Majority of students go for further studies in my course.

The placement is average. Google, Intellipath, and Hiked are the companies that provide placements. This year the maximum package is 6.5LPA. About 60% of students got placed in the Agriculture department.
