Rkmvcc has ranked 8th in the 2019 NIRF college ranking. And 10th in 2020 NIRF ranking. And not only that it even is bearing the tag of Centre For Potential Excellence of the govt of India. Talking about the faculty, as I'm in botany dept I am definitely gonna tell you the dept is absolutely great. With great teachers, and supporting and student-friendly college authority. Even the college provides research facilities in botany and all I can say It has the best botany dept in eastern India. Actually this college selects students through entrance examination exception was only in 2020 due to covid crisis. Now my guidance to other students will be if you want to persue a career in general science, and especially in life sciences, chemistry then Rkmvcc, will be a great place as it's politics-free and has great intent to build students. I wanted to persue a career in life sciences so I chose this program. Student teacher ratio is 1:5 All the professors are generally phd holders and some are award winners Our college takes mid-semester exams in the middle of the semester. Wich means 2exams per 6 months. Talking about the exams I shall only say If you are serious in studies, have the potential to do something then you definitely gonna make a great result in the exams.

This is a bachelor's and master's degree college. Students mainly come here to study to make knowledge and can do something great with his subjects. So there is generally no placement although still many students get jobs who want to do jobs and no further studies.

10000/yr mainly for all courses except comp sc and micro bio which is 15000/yr There are several scholarships along withbsone of their own i.e. some scholarships are Rkm 's own scholarships. Along with there are national scholarships like Inspire

The library is big enough and features every book that a student needs in a bachelor's and master's career. Every classroom is equipped with an LCD projector Extracurricular activity is an essential thing for a student.
