Entrance Preview
Formerly known as Rajasthan PET, now it takes admission through AIEEE. Admission was based on RPET ranks only. It was one of the best college that time thus cutoff was quit high.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum was based on Rajasthan Technical University kota. It was very primitive with quit old subject and languages taught in 4 years of time. Research was appreciated but keeping out 2-3 professors like HOD of computer Department none other have mantle or in depth knowledge to carry a research.
Internships Opportunities
Internship only for m tech students, these interns use to take our labs classes. labs were pretty good. .
Placement Experience
4 companies came at our time , Infosys which was the mass recruiter at that time picked up 196/430 students. Rest other 3 picked 5-10 students each. avg package 3.3 lpa . Navy and indian army also offered SSB call for 120 students. Rest most of the students got placed through off campus drives.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees for few students which were from unfortunate economical background was as low as 8000 per year. This is one of the initiative from RTU and not from the college. These seats were limited , but mandatory. Rest no loan facility was available for other students.
Alumni/Alumna
There is an alumni cell in college , very less alumni meet happens. Most of the seniors are at good positions in MNC. Most of them help if you approach them.
Exam Structure
Exams were very frequent each year we had 20 mid term exams , 10 semester exams , 30 lab exams. In every 2 month we had minor exams , in every 5 months we had major exams. Very hectic and does not leave time to do something on your own.
Faculty
90% of faculty were those who have just passed the college. only 2-3 senior teachers were worth attending classes. All the newly appointed teachers had very less knowledge of their subject.Still many tried hard to explain which i appreciate. minimum attendance barrier were placed thus we attend not worthy class.
