Remarks

The selection criteria includes qualifying exams (CAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ NMAT/ GMAT)- 35% weightage, group discussion-17%, personal interview- 25%, work experience 5%, past academic record- 10% and outstanding achievements -8%. The pros of the college include its rich faculty, diverse clubs and student committees as well as accomplished alumni base. The institute was established in its early 80s which knits a good network of its alumni across the globe. I referred to the college website as well as few online portals including collegedunia. I preferred this college over my other converts due to its location-Mumbai-the Industrial hub of the country and its decent placements.

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. There was one exam conducted per semester which included projects and written exams.
