A Honest Review

Pros: this college has a good reputation and a good name. The college campus is big and all facilities are available. The campus is clean. College timings for my course were early so by 1'o clock the college was over for us. Lots of extracurricular activities, sports and other events like marathon etc. are conducted. Cons: It not a value for money for anyone seriously into studies. The faculty lacks knowledge of the latest technologies. Though they charge a lot of fees the teachers are not very professional in their teaching. In short teaching, quality is below average. Admission: They conduct the JET exam for entrance which is a very basic level and very easy anyone can crack this exam and get admission. After JET, GD and interviews are taken for enrollment in the course which anyone can clear. Direct admission is also available if you have good marks. I preferred this college because this college had a good name and reputation. I used the official college website to get the course details.

I chose BCA because I didn't get a seat in engineering and with BCA they provided specializations like Data Analytics, IoT etc. The faculty-student ratio is normal like any other college but the worst part of my course was we had the same teachers every semester. The faculties are qualified but lack in their teaching skills. They are not efficient in teaching some faculties don't even know the subject they are teaching. The exams are normal and are conducted in MAY and OCTOBER/NOVEMBER.

Placements start from the 5th semester all students with no backlogs or 1/2 backlogs are eligible. Companies Infosys, TCS, Wipro, Accenture, etc, come for placements. The highest package as of now is 6 LPA and the average are 3 LPA. Profile offered is like trainee or associate for freshers. Most of the students get placed almost 90% of them. I plan to go for masters.

The Fee structure is 145000 per year and in short, it's not worth considering the quality of teaching. You want to enjoy it then this may be worth it for you. There are some government scholarship provided. No idea about financial assistance or campus jobs.

The fests are conducted during the even semesters. The fest name is Anveshana. I didn't attend any of the fests. Libraries are well equipped with a lot of books. All the amenities are good and all classrooms have a projector and a good atmosphere. Ther are a lot of opportunities for sportspeople. Many Indian team cricketers are alumni of this college. Many Extracurricular activities are conducted throughout the year and you can take part in them. We have different forums and NSS.

There we GD and PI after clearing the entrance test. I got direct admission. But my friends said that they were pretty easy and basic and you don't have to prepare anything to clear their rounds. Anyone can easily crack these rounds.
