I took Karnataka diploma CET. I got ranking of 1070. Actually I was from diploma background where I completed my diploma in computer science only. So that I was avial of computer science and information science beaches over both of these departments i took the computer science and engineering.
Course Curriculum Overview
They provide well equipped labs to practice new technologies with best and supportive faculty. The curriculum is completely based on continuous learning strategy, which helps students to keep in touch with academics also. Faculty members motivate the students towards research filed with full support.
Internships Opportunities
Actually they provide the facility of industrial training for the period of 40 days at our own cost. Other than that they provide lot of training to prepare the students to the industry standards.
Placement Experience
Its provides good placement opportunities with around 70-100 companies visiting per year and with good package. Every year lot students getting placed from the college and the count is keep on increasing every year. College provides good placement training so that students get place in more numbers.
College Events
There are lot of events are conducted every year like department level fest, college fest, sports day, volleyball tournament, basketball tournament and many more. Actually it helps the students to fresh their minds. The college fest will be for around 3 to 4 days, during these days there are lot of cultural, technical and management activities will be conducted.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is feasible and there are lot of facilities were provided during our academics such you can borrow maximum of 4 text books for a semester. Every year I used to pay around 50000 per year as college fees.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are different types of scholarships were available with different criteria. I used to avail the scholarship of Karnataka government where I used to get 80 percent of the fees I have paid to the college. But its based on category.
Exam Structure
Examination structure is quite different from other colleges. Actually the examination process is completely structured on the basis of continuous learning. Where as Surprised tests, Mid semester exams1 and 2 and finally the semester end exams. So the entire process makes the students more knowledgeable and it helps to get good score in academics.
Faculty
Faculty of SIT was really good. They are fully qualified and eager teach new things to the students. Every department have around 6-10 PhD holders and others are with master degree in different specifications. Level of teaching is good and they will conduct different activities to make us understand.
