Entrance Preview

I opted for IIT JEE , AIEEE and RPET. I did not got through JEE and AIEEE but was able to score pretty decent marks in RPET which were around 65 and i got 9000 rank. I opted for this college because in the range of colleges which were open to me, GITS was the one with highest reputation and good results.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum was very struct including regular classes, with a focus on learning not studying just for the sake of getting pass. students interested in R&D were given opportunities to carry on there research on the topics of their interest. Faculties and other staff members lended a hand in helping the students.

Internships Opportunities

The college as such do not provide any internship on their own. A student has to search for a internship on their own.

Placement Experience

Placement and job opportunities in GITS were excellent for students of branch C.S. and I.T . This year almost all the students of these branches got placed with an average package of 2.5 lacs and the highest being 4.3 lacs.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is no as such scholarship program carried out by the college and no loan facility is being offered by the college to the poor students.

Exam Structure

Exam structure was very rigorous and carried on according to a set of rules and regulations. There were number for practical assessment and theoritical assessment.

The faculties of our college were highly qualified requiring a minimum degree of M.Tech to get the job. The ability to deliver the teachings to the students was extraordinary.

My day by day growing college CTAE

Placement Experience:

Placement are decent in my point of view as college manage to provide campus placement to every eligible students as company ask for your Overrall grade point of the student and apply their standard as 6.5 ogpa or without any backlog and take exam of aptitude and it is based on company policy they take group discussion and then personal interview and if it is software company then coding rounds also. Students in7th semester are ready for placement. In current scenario 6 companies have visited the campus and around 40-45 offers has been given to students. Here each company come with only one package and different job roles some company came with 5.5 lpa and some with 5 lpa and some with 7 lpa so maximum till now from college is 7 lpa and average till now of placed students is 5.5 lpa. 60 percent of students get placed in past years stastics. My plan is to go for higher education ie mtech from good institution.

The placement of my college are good in electrical and mining branch the placement are very good while in other branch the placement is decent in this college many companies are visited like vedanta etc. many good companies are come here the 60 percent students are placed every year but in mining and ee the placement rate is almost 100 percent my plans after getting degree is to go in very good company with very good placement

Each year in seventh semester placement companies visit college for taking students. In mechanical engineering Vedanta and Secure meter come for taking students. The average placement of this college is seven to eight lakhs and highest placement is twenty two lakhs. The best part is the placement in core companies. The average placement CGPA REQUIRED FOR PLACEMENT IS SEVEN CGPA.

I have choose this college after researching and meeting around 15+ colleges from jaipur to udaipur. this was best because it is no1 college in sourthern rajasthan. no ihave never got any rejection from any college. the admission process is very easy. the eligiblity criteria is just 12th pass with 70% and 60% for reserved quota.Exams like jee cat are accepted. overall the admission process is kinda smooth without any issues....Read More
