Remarks
I liked the Biotechnology course because I was interested in the research field, in 2020 I attempted TS Eamcet in which I got 12594 I decided to opt for Biotechnology in engineering through the Eamcet rank I got a seat in biotech with 35 000 scholarship hence I joined the college as I heard a good talk about the college from my teachers and well-wishers.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is decent but the college management should focus more on practical knowledge in the first year. In my class, there are 60 students and biotech has only one section. Coming to the qualification of faculty almost were phd graduates. The exams as far I faced was decent.
Placement Experience
The placements were good for CSE and its students but when coming to the core branches the placements were not that good. The highest package last year 2020 is 41 lakhs for an IT student and the average package is around 3.5 to 6 lakhs. The percentage is not accurate on the college website. My plan is to prepare for gate and pursue mine. Tech or PhD in future.
Fees and Financial Aid
The course fee was 1,34,000 per year for any branch. I got a 35,000 scholarship from the government through ts eamcet rank. If one's rank in ts eamcet is below 10,000 that student will get full fee reimbursement.
Campus Life
The annual fest name was Shruthi, it is usually conducted in mid-March or September. The library consists of a lot of books which not only includes the academic but also novels, thesis reports, self-improvements books too. The sports and extracurricular activities are conducted a few weeks before the Shruthi fest. There were many clubs among them communicator, literati were popular clubs.
