INTERNSHIP EXPERIENCE IN NIRMA UNIVERSITY

My college has a very good reputation in all over Gujrat and its infrastructure is also on the top and also my college has very good placements so yeah there are no bad aspects of our college like I couldn't find anything still students say that attendance quota is highest compared to other colleges which I consider as pros of our college so we are prepared for the industry. Admissions were around July of 2018 and we had to first do the verification snd then we were given admission in the college admission process was quite tedious as students from all Gujrat had come for admission but still we managed to get the admission. I choose this college over others for only one reason and that is highly paid placements which were comparable with the IITs so yeah that is one reason and other I found it's very old and reputed college of Gujrat so as I didn't get in direct my second priority was set to Nirma. Yes, there are blogs on their official site that have formally describe the fea.

I chose Computer Science and Engineering for which you need the highest merit points and it's where colleges get their good placement records. There are a total of 275 students per year 240 from the science stream and 35 from the diploma and the whole batch is divided into four parts 0f approx 69 students each. And telling about the faculties we heard that some good faculties have left the college before our arrival but the present faculty were also fine for the education. There are mainly three exams first is the class test of 30 marks second is the sessional exam of 40 marks and one project for each subject this was in the continuous evaluation part which consists 60% of our results and one semester-end examine on which consists 40% of our result exams were quite easy for the first year but it gets harder as we dive deep into our subject every year.

Yes, they do help for applying or enrolling for an internship there is a dedicated placement cell which is always open for discussion and they also provide guidance for internship locally or globally both and in the last year, we have our major project in which we have to submit the project for which you also get guidance from our faculties.

Talking about placements Nirma is topping the game of placement by achieving a placement of 46 lakh was the highest placement this year and also many other good placement companies also arrived. The main big players are amazon, Samsung, Deutche bank, JP Moragan and morgan Stanley these are the high placement providers and also there mass recruiters like TCS, Infosys and Wipro and Adani. Due to which the overall average package here becomes around 8 LPA (lakhs per annum). My plan is also to try out for a good placement from this university and settle up. Also, the placement here mainly conducted in the last year of graduation but internships are always open for any year student.

The fees are very high due to the infrastructural is continuously on the rise. At the beginning of our college fees were around 1,68,000 but it got a yearly increase of 5000 per annum due to which it is currently 1,78,000 so yeah just fees hike with going on inflation nothing special on that. But we mainly get the chief minister government scheme which also kown as MYSY Mukhyamantri Yuva Swawlamban Yojna which approx gives around 67000/- INR directly in our bank account which is around 45% deduction from our fees and it's very helpful in managing our finance.

Discussing social life the college has a number of clubs by each department of the college which ranges from law pharmacy technology and management and it has a very good place for sports in our college which is quite nice there is also a very big and rich library filled with books ranging from every domain and talking about the clubs there are mainly two big clubs which is rcni and is one of which is retract club and the second one is a technical club also there are regular sessions from experts from industry and also there was an orientation session at the beginning of our college which was also quite nice. So yeah, this was all about social life at our college.
