I took admission through Uttar Pradesh Technical University(UPTU) Entrance Exam, conducted by UP state for technical and Professional Courses. My state level rank was around 21000. I had taken admission in B.Tech in 2009, but before 2009 this university was allowing the students to take admission, who have rank in AIEEE.

Course curriculum are good because they are teaching only those subjects which are very important in industrial and GATE point of view. Most of the subjects are common as in IITs. They are having their own authority to change the syllabus. If they found something is important, they can easily change the subjects syllabus.

No, they are not offering any internships when i was perusing my course. And only one company TCS came when i was in final year. But later on I came to know now few more companies started coming.

Placement and Job opportunities point of view it is not a better place because only few companies are coming for placement with a their own eligibility criterion. Most of the student got failed to fulfill their criterion. So You would have limited opportunity and it is not a better option for a job seeker.

Diwali, Holi, Cultural fest, Ambedkar Jyanti and most of the festivals they are celebrating with the coordination of students and faculties. Special on Alumni meet and Ambedkar jyanti they conducts special programs. And other people and companies are also sponsring them.

When I was in B.Tech at that time they were charging 40000 per year. But now the fee structure is revised, now they are offering 83,280 per year including caution. For the students who are not able to pay entire fees in one payment for them they are giving some installment scheme also after special permission of authorities.

Institute were not offer any loan or scholarship. But there is a bank UNION BANK OF INDIA inside the campus. If you are applying for the loan then they can provide you but you have to fulfill their norm and terms. One of my friend had taken loan from same bank.

For each subjects of 100 marks, they have divided this 100 marks into two part. External 70 marks and Internal 30 marks. External exam is like you final exam and whole syllabus will come in this External exam, therefore, they have given more weight-age to external exam. And for internal exam of 30 Marks they will conduct three internal exams and maximum mark of each will 15 marks.
