Entrance Preview
I got admission in SRM CET through uttar pradesh technical university (uptu) exam. I have a rank around 27,000 . I have not selected this college but got this in up-gradation. No there is no interview round for admission. The admission procedure is very simple and you just need to get verification of your documents.
Internships Opportunities
No, my college does not provide any internship program.They have organized few seminars and workshops but not any internship program as per my knowledge.
Placement Experience
The placement is very poor only one multinational company Tata Consultancy services (TCS) only comes for recruitment. TCS is basically an IT sector but our college administration force everyone to sit in that company. if you are a ECE student or ME student or EE student the only hope for getting placed is TCS.
College Events
.There are only two events take place once in a year i.e. one technical and one cultural .The cultural event is quite big and include students form all over colleges affiliated to uptu.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is feasible only. The Tuition fee is around 1,20,000 per year i.e. for 2 semester and if you are a hosteler you need to pay 60,000 per year. Apart from these two fess college charges a lot of extra fess i.e registration fees, events fees etc. So these extra amount goes in their pocket If you are a day scholar you need to pay 12,00 for bus.
Fees and Financial Aid
There is no loan or scholarship facility is available as much. The university provides fee waiver seat i.e around 4 seats in each branch. The college offers scholarship for students who score above 75% will get 20,000 rupees but they need to score at least 75% in both semester.
Campus Life
The campus life is very boring for me, i don't know about others but it is not quite interesting for them to. The gender ratio is about 30% and 70% for girls and boys respectively.
Exam Structure
The exam occurs very frequently i.e. they conduct unit test every month one mid semester exam and one pre university exam is conducted by college and university also conduct final exam for each semester. The labs are quite good and experiments are conducted on a regular basis and the lab is filled with all the necessary apparatus required to perform experiments.
Faculty
The faculty are not good in the sense the knowledge content of the faculties are limited and their teaching methods are outdated and they don't have much knowledge practically of the subject they are teaching. They know ale the theoretical aspects of subjects but don't have knowledge about practical applications.
