My awesome student life in JIT

I would say our college is the best among Anna University colleges in Coimbatore. When I visited the college before the counselling process I get to know more about the college. Classrooms are well equipped with Air conditioners, a place where we could learn comfortably. Bus facilities are there for almost 3 districts around. Labs do have modern equipment. The library has all the subject, major books, journals, daily newspapers. If any student wants a soft copy of the book they can get it after informing with library assistant. Sometimes breakdowns occur in college buses. The admission process is the same as many of the colleges. For admissions, students can visit the college and can fill the application form, apply for management quota or can join by selecting the college in counselling. I chose this course since I love to study electronics. Most of the staffs in our department are Doctorate holders. The way they teach is really application-oriented. Staffs take classes through blackboards and through presentations. Once we listen to the classes and if we revise 1 time before the exam it would be enough to pass the exams. The number of students in our class is 17. The number of students in our department is more than 100. Even in this pandemic, we do have online Classes through moodle. The contents of every subject will also be available there.

A pre-final year and final students will be offered internships from zinnov management with a monthly stipend of rupees 7000. Core company internships will also be offered for final year students which would be an awesome learning experience. If the student's performance is satisfied for the company they will be provided with permanent jobs.

Placement preparations will be provided from the first year of college. Faculties will give special coaching on aptitude training. Group discussion training, the course-based general quiz will be practised from 1st year. Every department will be provided with programming classes as required for their major like c programming for EEE. Python,c for Ece.Lots of companies like Zinnov management, Tramp technologies, Worksbot applications, Wipro, Cognizant, HCL visit every year. More than 60% of students are placed every year. The minimum package is 3 lakhs per annum and the maximum package is 8 lakhs per annum. The internship will be provided by core companies, Zinnov management for prefinal year and final year students. My plans are to get a job in on campus interviews. From pre-final year students will be eligible for placement.

Fee Per year is 92,500(college fee)+20000(bus fee)=1,12,500.So totally for 4 years 4,50,000. The fee will not vary every year. It will same as of 1st year. But the fee may vary for each student according to 12th marks. There will 1st graduate scholarships of up to 25,000 and sc/st scholarships.

The college does have lots of clubs namely Programming club, Tamil mandram, Nss, Ecoclub for civil students, Energia club for EEE students, Andriod Club for CSE students, Mobility club for mech students, Data Analytics club for Artificial Intelligence students, Iot club, Music club. More than that there will be photography contests, essay writing contests, presentation contests, Poster creating contests etc, Faculties will be arranging Industrial webinars by industrialists for every semester. All sports coaching will be provided by Physical Education. There will be a Pongal celebration, Diwali celebration events, symposiums in which we will be enjoying a lot. Classrooms have neat and tidy chair and table for every student. All kind of journals, newspapers, weekly editions, monthly editions will be available in the library.
