SriRanganath Tottadi's Review On Godavari Global University - [GGU], East Godavari

Took EAMCET examination and got 10000 odd rank, while am joining there were huge set of Engineering colleges started .I done some research and found out this is one of the few colleges which provides good facilities and had good set of lecturers .

Course curriculum is given by university , College has nothing to do as this is not autonomous then. Lecturers were well qualified and we had good lab facilities. I can say we are lucky enough to get good facilities which is not the case with remaining colleges.

No , During my time there is no Internship. But by End of my course our college supported JKC (a govt initiative) to grab few individulas who got selected and train them .

Regarding placement , we got some 4-5 companies for our colleges alone. We attended few off campus interviews as well where our college students got opportunity. Now I came to know that our college is getting good organisations for placement.

We had JKC event, Cultural fest ,many competitions happend during out tenure .We had good open air auditorium which is great thing then. Campus located in vast space so all events are really funny and we had very good time.

Fee structure is based on University norms ,Now I can see there is lot of change in fee structure .I got a free seat and as expected college collected some 2500/- as additional fees from us ,when we got this much infrastructure we felt its ok to pay that amount.

They offer scholarships for poor students or students from certain communities as part of govt schemes.But I never heard or seen of any thing from college .

Its just like JNTU pattern where we get 4 sets and each candidate may get any one of the set and difficulty level is same in each set. We had internal exams where lecturers are not lenient not strict. We got good marks in internal which helped us to score good % overall.

As mentioned above, Faculty is good (of course not great).But they are encouraging and guided us well. I strongly feel Engineering student should be self driven and should not dependent of lecturers .They can only guide you but not feed you the stuff.
