First of all, this is the most prestigious college in Delhi/NCR for delivering the best quality of education. No student has ever said that they regret being a GALGOTIAN. This college is more than just a college. Being marvellous in providing education, it also promotes co-curricular activities to boost the morale and confidence of every individual student. I was admitted to GCET through the exam UPSEE(which is now UPCET) in 2020. I am a former student of Galgotias University so I am aware that I will get what I was promised here also. Both the college and University(Galgotias) are best in terms of management, safety and placement among all the big names in this region. I chose this course as I had BCA as an undergraduate degree and I wanted to grow in the tech field. Having just a bachelor degree is not enough for knowledge and placements either. In this college, we have a well-structured hierarchy of faculties for every course and tasks. You can always come up to the professor regarding any issue and they will not hesitate a bit to guide you, this is the best thing I like here. Teachers are very well experienced and there is a high chance that the professor teaching you is a PHD holder and former student of the best institutes of our country i.e. IIT, NIT & IIIT. Students have to work hard effectively to be good academically, no teacher will hold your hand unless you don't put in efforts. The level of exam clearly depends on the capability of the student, some may find it easy or some may declare it as the hardest ever seen LOL. But personally, exams didn't seem too hard because faculties already made us very clear with concepts already.

Students are made eligible at the last year of their respective courses to opt for campus placements. Several tech giants like TCS, Infosys, Mahindra Tech, Wipro etc. come to the campus for hiring and make genuine offers to all the candidates eligible. Offers made depend on the batch, competence, students sitting for an interview. But Statistics are quite high in the selection of candidates here. Packages vary from 3.0 LPA - 8 LPA which is a good window for any fresher. I plan to work with tech giant TCS in future for sure and make my career shine.

So far fees have not been an issue here to anyone as it is not too high or not too cheap either. Scholarships opportunities are provided every year to deserving candidates. Scholarships are distributed after a thorough inspection and verification by AKTU officials. To acquire campus placement you got to be competent enough to achieve attention from the recruiter with your skillset as these institutes generate skills in every student and no student will leave such an opportunity.

I personally had a lot of fun on this campus. Multiples DJ nights, Fests, Movies promotion tours and smalls events were organised before COVID-19. I was allowed to the institute only because I used to be a student of Galgotias University, ID cards of both institutes affect both places. COVID-19 has prohibited us from gathering more than the allowed limit so there has been no event recently but when the situations get better, this campus will shine again as it used to do earlier. GCET has a large space for the library which is secluded from the college to avoid disturbance to the readers, there is a 110% chance of getting the book that you want to read here. Classrooms are hygienic, spacious and full of light and air. The campus has a big sports ground where you can sit and feel the wind in peace and play any sport as well at the right times. When you get admitted to this institute, you will probably be approached by many clubs run by students.
