IMI Delhi

IMI is located in Delhi which is near Gurgaon where all the hubs of corporates are situated, automatically it becomes a great college in terms of Placements as all the top companies from various sectors come for hiring. Companies like Reliance, RB, ITC, etc. are regular recruiters. It is better than most of the Tier 2 colleges as in terms of placements they are having good relations with various corporates.

The curriculum is quite hectic from the moment you enter the college there is back to back an assignment with very thin deadlines. Students have to go through a good amount of pressure which makes them ready to deal with any situation in the future as managers. Most of the faculties have done PHDs, few of them even have done it from foreign reputed institutions.

The internship is a compulsory part of the curriculum in a B-School therefore it is provided to each and every student from within the campus, Highest stipend has gone as high as 1.5 Lakhs. on an average students receive a stipend somewhere between 30k-50k. Students are provided internships based on their interest area or their specializations.

Placements are really good, as most of the top companies from various sectors come for hiring in IMI Delhi, Highest package has gone close to 30LPA and the average is somewhere between 13-15LPA, Lowest is between 7-9LPA. Almost all the students get placement from within the college, very few students opt out of the placement process if they get better opportunities outside the campus.

Fees are a bit high in comparison to other B-schools in the same band but if you look at the placements and the services and the pedagogy and the exposure offered to the students then it seems justified as it is that good. Financial assistance is provided to the students who are from the EWS category.

Campus life as told by many of our seniors it is quite great, each and every day there will be something or the other to keep the students engaged in some kind of curricular or extracurricular activity. Throughout the year various competitions are organized for the students so that they are able to apply the theoretical knowledge in a more practical way.

IMIs admission process is a bit rigorous in comparison to other B-Schools as it covers all aspects while selecting a candidate, there is Extempore, Essay Writing, even psychometric test can happen and then finally the Interview.
