Remarks
It had a good brand value compared to all other options I had. Also, the location of Pune is better and this college is located at a very beautiful place surrounded from all sides by colleges and corporates. Also, most of my teachers suggested it to me over all other options available to me.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is okay. It is not anything different from other top colleges. As far as teachers are concerned they are mostly top notch. Most of the teachers are PhD holders from some of the top colleges or universities in India. A few are also alumni of foreign universities. Faculty to student ratio is not exactly known to me but the class strength is about 60. So most of the times during presentations or assignment discussions teachers will give you restrictions on the time and length of your answers. The exams are average. Many of the faculty will just copy paste questions from the previous questions of other universities and they will even make marks deduction for copying although they are themselves, cheaters.
Internships Opportunities
The college doesn’t make it public the internship opportunity available for students that itself suggests that the figures are mostly wrong. From my experience also it is clear that the figures claimed by the institute are false. You can expect a stipend of 12000-15000 average for the entire duration of the internship ( not monthly).
Placement Experience
The placement is good and that is the best thing about this college. However, I will suggest not to believe the figures claimed by the institute. The real figures are much lower and that is true for most of the management colleges in India. You can consider the average placement to be around 11-12 LPA. Also, the offers you will get will depend on whether you have prior work experience or not. If you have work experience you will get above average if not then expect below average placement package.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee is around 16 lakhs for the entire course which is not low by any means. Also, consider the quality of the campus this fee is very high. Scholarships are there but they are of the name only. Very few students get a chance to avail those scholarships. The stipend claimed by the college is totally false. The actual figures are much lower. Keep that in mind.
Campus Life
The campus life is not that good. Its campus is very small. So if you looking for a good memorable campus life then this college is not for you. However, the surrounding area is very nice. So that can compensate for the bad or worst campus experience.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facility is as bad as it can be. You will get very small rooms and that you will have to share with 2 other peoples. Food quality will also be as bad as possible. Students have no control over the food menu. And no one will listen to any of your complaints regarding the food quality
Interview Experience
The topic for my GD was: Indians are poor but India is not The interview questions that I still remember were: 1. Why you chose to do an MBA 2. How can you improve the condition of your state as an MBA 3. What is the break-even point? 4. What skills you have learnt in the past year 5. Which newspaper you read regularly
