SEE UPTU, was passonate about electronics engg. I got around 8000+ rank, got the college in the first round of counselling. The process was very chaotic plus the server issue was too prominent at that time so everything got delayed.
Course Curriculum Overview
The structure of course is good also you are suppose to get an industrial training all by your own, but still it gives a lot of exposure. The subjects are well structured and the books mentioned to be referred are worth giving a try, as they help you with the core concepts.
Internships Opportunities
Nope the college doesn't provide any kind of internship, but if you wish to join somewhere and need a recommendation letter from college, then yes the registrar, HOD and Director all will help you in getting one. In my case i got internship along with a friend in his dad's company.
Placement Experience
Placements are surely the thing to look forward to. Yes you will get placed if you are average or just below average. I mean you should not be dumb, all else will get placed only the size of salary and company will change. You will be thrown into some IT firm or at best samsung, don't expect any miracles.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Coming to Fees is the worst part, its too expensive and plus in my batch once we passed out they asked for 45000 more for marksheets and degree. And there was huge protests but all went to vain as they charged us 45000, can you believe 45000 for marksheets and degree.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes scholarship is there i don't know much about. Yes you can get loan from any bank galgotias is a well known college in UPTU and has got reputation. So getting education loan is easy.
Campus Life
Gender ratio is just like any other Engg college, like in our batch out of 60 students 17 -18 were girls. Extracurricular activities are not supported much although you may find a basket ball court in the development mode from past 2 years. A big ground is present where boys play cricket and football seldom.
Alumni/Alumna
No, there is no alumni network. All those who knew each other personally are connected and rest are lost in this hay stack of people.
Exam Structure
Disaster all you need is to just mug up. No conceptual knowledge needed just like all other Engg. college exams, its same here too. And you need 30 out of 100 in externals and 40 or 50% in internals to pass. And believe me once you get a job nothing matters marks are just numbers.
Faculty
The Faculty are good and very cooperative they help you a lot, except few. Although they might not help you much with studies but internals and attendence play a crucial role in which they play a very vital role.
