My College is a college of national importance as it is the national institute of technology. I preferred it over other regional colleges because of this reason only. It has a huge campus of over 650 acres and with build new hostels. It is situated nearly at the center of the city of Bhopal which makes it more connected with the city. I read about the reviews of this college on Quora and collegedunia and called some of the people also. The admission process was a bit tiresome it needs you to submit lots of documents but that's the same for all the colleges. The admission dates were as per provided by jossa

Faculty members are quite good they are well experienced and even in this lockdown situation they had a nice online interaction with the students. Faculties are generally PhD holders or mtech. There are 3 exams total in a semester with practicals vivas and externals other than that they are of moderate to high difficulty.

There are good internship opportunities available in our college. In this lockdown also we are getting online internship opportunities which we can do as work from home. This internship not only provides a stipend but also gives the basic knowledge of the industry.

Students become eligible after their 3rd year of college for campus placement. Campus placement is also quite good here with companies like Microsoft offering placements here. The percentage of placements varies according to the branch which is maximum for computer science. My plans are to either go for pg or opt for a civil services examination.

The tution fees are as usual same as that of all other NITs which is nearly 65000 per semester There are also various scholarships like MMVY or caste-based scholarships. I actually got mmvy scholarship. But other than this, college fees vary as per the income of the student's family and it is 0 if the student's family income is less than 1lakh annum. I still study here so can't tell you about a job.

College Life is wounderful here. The hostel life is the best part of it. You got to enjoy yourself with your friends who are from all over India and I guarantee you will get one of your best friends here. They will also help you with your studies and also encourage you. Our college organizes various events which are organized in association with the college societies and administration. There happens cultural fests, tech fests, literature fests, annual games, you have chance to go for inter nit sports, internet competition and many more. Library provides all the books required in the curriculum. These societies that I mentioned above are all run by students

The room is equipped with the required facilities like a study desk, beds, charging points, shelves, balcony, lights, and fan. The mess food is just marvelous it has a very good taste and it has formed a mess committee run by the students so all the types of meals students want are prepared here. It has a different menu for all seven days. The hostel's registration process is very simple and it just takes 15-20 mins to allow you the room.
