THE JOURNEY OF GRADUATION

The university has a vast campus equipped with all the modern facilities. The campus also has a food court which has a variety of food stalls. the seniors are very friendly and always help their juniors so that they do not feel homesick. the classroom is equipped with projectors which help in learning the particular topics very easily. The teachers are always there to help the students whenever they are in need. The campus is also equipped with indoor and outdoor sports grounds. The outdoor sports include Cricket ground, football ground, tug of war, basketball court, handball, Lawn tennis, Volleyball. The indoor sports involves Chess, carrom, badminton.

From my school day, I was too fascinated with engines, cars and bikes. So, I always wanted to become an engineer. So, I choose Mechanical Engineering. The Faculty student ratio in the classroom is 50:1. in the laboratory, it is 20:1. So the student gets a brief overview of the practical knowledge in the lab. The faculties here are highly qualified and always prefer a two-way interactive teaching method. There are two weekly tests and one mid-semester exams, and at the end of the semester, End Semester Examinations are taken. The questions are bit tricky but if the students pay attention in the class they can surely crack the exams.

I got the internship opportunities. I have done my Internship at TATA CHEMICALS. I was given the maintenance department in the TATA. So I saw and learned all the aspects which have learned in the class and saw there physically.

From the seventh semester, a student is eligible for a placement drive. The companies start to come to the campus. The placement process involves, The short description of the company to the students, followed by a Group discussion round, after that Personal Interview and finally the HR round. Around 70% of students get placement in the campus placements.

The yearly fees of my engineering were 74,000. The students can also scholarship based on the Class 12 marks. The college provides a positive environment and allows the students to learn in a better way.

The campus life is fabulous. In Parul Annual Fest DHOOM is conducted, which involves all the cultural events. The Technical Festival is also conducted which is named PROJECTIONS, PROJECTIONS is the largest tech fest of Gujarat. The Robo war is a major attraction of this Techfest. The Central Library is equipped with all the books which a student requires.

Hostels are very hygienic and well maintained. The seniors always take care of the juniors, the help them out in all possible situations. The hostel students also get the GYM facility and Swimming pool facility.

The admission process was followed by a personal interview by the panel of councillors. The Topic related to the current affairs was asked and some topic was related to the course I selected. The JEE marks also play an important role in the admission process. I used to practice and watch youtube tutorials.
