Average engineering college.

College is average for students who want to pursue engineering it will provide you opportunities for placement. You need to be hard worker and stay focused.

I have cleared state entrance i.e UPSEE (Uttar Pradesh State Engineering Examination) and scored 21000 rank in state. Admission process is through UPSEE counselling and Direct Admission is also available. I opted for this college as it was in Allahabad and I wanted to stay in Allahabad. In Allahabad it was a decent option to opt for.

Course structure is divided into 8 semesters with first two semesters are common for all the branches. Remaining 6 semesters focus on the branch you opted for. I couldn't see any focus on research in the course. The course basically focuses on theory and hardly on practical learnings.

For M.tech Students there is internship of some kind, (I am not sure). For students of B.tech there is no internship of any kind you can go to nearby industrial areas for internship.

I would rate placement and job opportunities as average. College does manage to bring some companies in the campus e.g :- College has a tie up with Infosys for 5 years and Infosys visit every year in the college. Also companies like HCL, Genpact have visited the college but job profile is not always good. You need to be aware of job profiles i am placed in MNC through off campus.

Fee Structure was 95950 for 1 years (i.e 2 semesters)hostel fees is separate and would be around 55000 for a year so if you opt for College and Hostel both then it would turn into 150950 if you opt for College bus then bus fees is 13000 a year. It is comparative to other private engineering colleges.

Loan facility is available through many banks there is Scholarship for meritorious students and toppers of UPSEE. You will get scholarships if you are a UPTU topper in semesters. You can get upto 100% waiver on fees.

Gender Ratios is almost equal. There are as many girls in college as there are boys. The crowd is diverse but majority is UP students. Extracurricular activities are frequent and there are ample opportunities for one to grow their skills events like Debate, Mock Interviews, Robotics are frequent in every year roadies, Face Paintings etc are also good events.

Hostel facilities are decent. You will get wifi (for a limited time in a day) Security of the hostel is quite good specially for girls hostel. Mess food is average and there are ambulances ready in case of any health issue. Hostels are in a close proximity to the college campus and are well infra structured.

Alumni Network is a bit slow. One hardly get chances to meet the alumni. But one can meet senior students easily and have their doubts clarified senior Students are generally helpful and will help the junior there are no cases of ragging or so.

Exam Structure for my course was 8 semesters (4 years) every semester contains 3 sessional examination. You need to give at least two sessional exams. These are internal every semester has 3 labs. But labs are quite chill and you don't have to worry about practicals as they are easy to go through.

I would access the college faculty as below average. Most of the faculties are hardly experienced and have a little knowledge of the subject.One or two faculties have some idea about the subjects. Also same faculty is teaching different subjects in different years. You need to be on your own to go through the semesters.
