Pros and Cons of MANIT

The admission process is too lengthy, they don't know to kajage things, for admission I waited 1 day long. college is quite good in every aspect, everything is available within the college campus. College is very nice but lacks in infrastructure that's the main bad aspects of Manit. I prefer this college over others because Bhopal is my home town.

I choose mechanical because of my interest. Faculty members are quite good, some are strict some are lenient but the overall main thing which matters is their teaching techniques, knowledge which is best. All my teachers had done PhD is their specialization. Teacher: student ratio is 1:5 that is good. Exams are a bit tough though we can easily pass them.

Yes, the college provides internship opportunities from 3rd year onwards. Many major companies come into the role for internship. Students get a decent post as an intern and if the intern is performing well then they give the intern an offer to join the company permanently. Companies like TCS, Microsoft, Google, bajaj, hero etc. Come for internship purpose.

Placements are really really good, if you want to get placement then there are several opportunities to get h good job with a decent package. After the 3rd year, you are eligible for placement that is from the 7th semester or 4th year you are eligible. The highest package last year was 42 lac per annum and the average was 18lac per annum. This is for CSE.

The fee structure is good and the fees are affordable for most of the students. Our college provides every scholarship provided by the government. And college best part is it provides you with the financial assistance of 5lakh/year I guess(amount may vary) for new startup ideas for their execution. Campus placement is good, for mechanical it is 54% that is quite good because many mechanical students go for the public sector and it is still 54% so I appreciate it.

As I previously mentioned campus life is best and I had the best social life I ever lived. There are so many societies, you can join any of them, but you to go through the recruitment process. The annual fest is Maffick conducted every year in February and the tech fest we have is Technosearch held every October. Classes are too nice, a proper class with everything available which makes study good. There is a sports complex which has most of the sports court right now lawn Tennis court is under construction. We have national level badminton court, inter NIT held here for badminton. Robotics and Aaroha are some societies.

There are different hostels for a different year and I had the experience of the 1st-year hostel. They are quite good. Everything is well maintained, rooms are in good condition and clean, water facility is good and bathrooms are good. Mess food is also good and workers check the quality and they never compromised it.
