Remarks

To be honest, this was my dream college to get into it. I always had a mindset to crack MJCET. In the Intermediate, I worked hard and achieved 97% which was a plus point in order to get a good rank in the eamcet and those 56 marks of eamcet sufficed for me. I got this college in my second counseling as I mistakenly put this college below in the list while applying in the first counseling. Hopefully, in the second counseling, I got the seat. The great aspects of my college include, it's surrounded with gardens, a very appealing and friendly environment among students and as well as among lecturers. Our lecturers are superb at what they teach. MJCET ranked 59th among India's Top Professional colleges. These were reasons for preferring this college over others. Regarding the admission process and dates, it depends upon the order of counseling in which you got the seat. And it's very easy to go through the process of admission. You can surf the web for the MJCET website: college.ac.in

Course Curriculum Overview

5

At that time, I collected some feedbacks from different people, finally decided to go with IT. And I don't regret now choosing the IT stream. Being honest with student: faculty ratio, was always good. Lecturers use to be very student-friendly and it's the same the other way. They use to ask us whether we understood the concept or not, and in return, we use to ask them doubts if any. Lecturers at MJCET are well qualified. Everyone has a sound or say complete knowledge of what they deliver or in the subject, they're teaching. Their method of teaching was good and it obviously differs from person to person. Hopefully, having excellent lecturers is always a bonus point at MJCET to crack semester exams. The term exams or say semester exams, the curriculum is designed in such a way that we use to have them twice a year. Meaning, 2 term exams in a year, so a total of 8 in 4 years of Engineering. Passing them depends on how you have prepared for it. It's usually medium level I can say to pass.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

Yes, our college has the facility for internships. Firstly, companies visiting our campus provide internships especially for 3rd years and after dealing with them, they give them the job directly based on their performance. Amazon recently provided an internship with a stipend of 65,000 and Service Now has offered an internship with a stipend of 45,000. Your resume should be filled with quality projects in order to stand out odd among others. You'll be undergoing many rounds including tech rounds and HR rounds in order to clear the interview.

Placement Experience

5

The placements here at MJCET are just awesome. From the 6th semester, you will be eligible and have the chance of getting into the company through placements. A very big number of companies visit our campus. Some of them include Amazon, Service Now, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Oracle, Deloitte, Intel, Cognizant, HP, Value Labs, Cap Gemini, etc. Recently our senior got the highest package of 28 LPA from CSE and also 20 LPA from IT for SDE, SQAE roles, etc. A very good percentage of students get placed here at MJCET. At the highest, 324 students got placed in a single year. I plan to crack my dream job at Amazon or Service Now.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure depends on the quota you belong to. For the management quota, the fee per year is 1.10 lakhs. For the convenor quota, it's 0, but you will be required to pay some fee at the start like 6,000. The convenor quota people will get scholarship about 5,800 every year and that whole 1.10 fees are given by the government. Previously it was 85,000 and it just got increased recently too 1.10 lakhs. Regarding job or say campus placements, it's just superb here. Hell lot of companies both product-based and service-based visits our campus for hiring talented students. Some of the companies include Amazon, Service Now, Deloitte, Wipro, Infosys Tech Mahindra, etc. Recently my seniors got placed in Amazon with 28 LPA packages and 20 LPA packages. I'm currently in my 3rd year and companies will start visiting our campus for placements. Hope everything will be fine.

Campus Life

4.5

On our campus, many fests use to get conducted. We have some fests say, ADSOPHOS which is a tech-fest that gets conducted every year. And one more, ENVISAGE, a fest for especially for IT department, and many more. Usually, we have them in February or March. We do have a big library called SM NIZAM UDDIN LIBRARY. It's really huge and filled with books and journals. It has more than lakh of books and many different types of journals plus some other books say project workbooks. The classrooms are good. Facilities like seating, hygiene, board, projector, screens, etc. Everything is fine. About extracurricular activities, we have a big ground for outdoor games and we have separate rooms for indoor games. You can enjoy both of them. At MJCET, we have quite more student clubs to join and innovate. Some of the clubs include IEEE, MSS, CSI, ROBOTICS, ORATORS, EWB, ACM, etc. Every club has its own website and functionalities. Every club use to come up with new ideas and events. You will enjoy it.
