Review on LIET

I found this college via Google search, later I got to know even more as I started exploring the website of my college(LIET). The college was extremely close to my house and as I visited the college I realized that it is well connected not only by roads but also it is nearer to both cities, these were the initial pros that attracted me towards this college preferring it over the others. The admission was based on the management quota. After the session started we were laid into the hands of very supportive and helpful faculties, that's the other pro of LIET. Here the students are nurtured with extreme care. Besides, the college has beautiful grounds, greenery and well-organized labs. The only con that I found in this college is here the students are not having much freedom other than that the college is very good in all aspects.

I choose B.Tech, CSE. I have always been attracted towards technology especially towards programming thus had determined that this was the course I wanted to opt for. In LIET we have highly qualified faculties taking good care and making sure that we learn every aspect as clearly as possible. Enough time is taken to teach a particular topic making sure that we can easily understand it. We always have regular assignments and tests which will make us get prepared for the future semester exams.

There are various Internship opportunities provided by the college. Most of them being the campus representative programs by various organizations like Coding ninja, Intern Shala, etc. They are very supportive in taking the students to industries for getting the industrial knowledge and experience.

LIET students perform very well in campus placements. Most of the students get placed every year. Companies like HP, IBM, TCS, Infosys, etc. are among the recruiters. Students are often gets placed with an average salary of 6LPA.

The fee for B.Tech is extremely low in LIET as compared to any other college in this area, i.e. 35000/ for the total year. Also, there are some special schemes for students like full-fee reimbursement provided by the AP government for the students with low income.

LIET has a very good and beautiful campus for a private engineering college in the middle of the city. It has two blocks, one block is for the mechanical department and the other five building block is for all the other departments, a canteen and a playground. Our special events are cultural fests, tech fests, sports fests etc. It is famous in the city and every student of LIET awaits these events. We have various clubs too. Innovation club, Dance club, Coding club-like Google DSC etc. The college life in LIET is very good and exciting. Seniors in this college are extremely helpful and supportive. They teach and they guide.
