Review on LIET

I found this college via Google search, later I got to know even more when I visited the college and by exploring the website of the college (LIET). The college was extremely good and also close to my house and as I visited the college I realized it is well connected by roads also, these were the initial pros that attracted me towards this college and preferring it over the others. The admission was based on the EAMCET rank. After the session started we were laid into the hands of the most helpful and supportive faculty, that's another pro of LIET. Here the students are nurtured with the most care. Besides, the college has beautiful grounds, greenery fields, entertaining events and well-organized labs. The only con that I found in this college is that here the students are having less freedom other than that it is good in all the other aspects.

I choose B.Tech, CSE. I have always been attracted to technology and its aspects especially towards programming thus long determined that this was the course I wanted to opt for. In LIET we have highly qualified faculties taking good care of the students and making sure that we learn every aspect as clearly as possible. Enough time is taken to explain every topic. We always have regular tests and assignments which will make us get prepared for the future semester examinations.

There are various internship opportunities for the students provided by the college both on and off-campus. Most of them being the campus representative programs by various organizations like Coding ninja, Intern Shala, etc. They are also very supportive in taking the students to the industries for gaining industrial knowledge.

LIET students perform very well in campus placements. Most of the students get placed every year. Companies like HP, TCS, IBM, Infosys etc are among the recruiters. Students are often placed with an average package of 7LPA.

The fee for B.Tech is extremely low in this college as compared to any other private engineering college in this area, i.e. 35000/ for the total year. There are some special schemes like full-fee reimbursement for the students with low income provided by the AP government.

LIET has a big campus for a private engineering college in the middle of the city. It has two blocks, one block is for the mechanical department and the other is for all other departments containing in five-floor building, a huge library, a canteen and a playground. Our special events are cultural fests, tech fests, sports fests etc. Every student of LIET awaits these events. It is famous all over the city. We have various clubs too. Innovation club, Dance club, Photography club, Coding clubs like Google DSC club etc. The college life in LIET is very good and exciting. Seniors are very friendly and helpful, they teach and they guide.
