Remarks
The good thing about the College is it has a good environment especially for mechanical or industrial production engineers, all the labs were fully functioning and up to date. One of the bad things about mechanical or production engineers is they don't have many college placements. The admission process is very simple I wrote an entrance exam(EAMCET) in which I secured a 40k rank for which I easily got enrolled in the college and course I needed it took almost 3-4 months since I wrote the exam and started my classes. It has amazing labs and the faculty is good, it has many student bodies such as SAE, Robocon and many more.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose the industrial production engineering course because there were many industries that produced a variety of components such as automobile parts, aeroplane parts etc. This course helped me land my first job in that industry. Most of the faculty members had completed their masters, many of them had PhDs. It was once every month, it was really difficult passing them however if we prepare well it was quite easy.
Placement Experience
From 3rd year of engineering students become eligible for college placements, and most campus placement is for CSE and IT in my college. I went to campus placements, attended 3companies and finally got into one. 70 % in cse and IT are getting placements.
Fees and Financial Aid
There wasn't a fee hike, once we enter the college in a specific amount of fee it will be the same until we pass out, well if they raise the fee it will be for the next batch or juniors. I got a scholarship that was funded by the state government.it was amazing, covered all my tuition fee.
Campus Life
The college fest was amazing every year it was conducted in February, for 3 days.it has various technical and fun events. we had a great time at our college fest. The name of my college fest was 'Adsophos'. My college had an amazing library it was open from 7 am to 7 pm, it had all the books, journals articles etc. My college has football, basketball, volleyball and cricket grounds I mostly took part in cricket and football.
Interview Experience
No there wasn't any GD or interview. Admission was only done through the entrance exam (written exam), the other way to get admission was through donation. The written exam was based on math, physics and chemistry. 80 marks for math, 40 marks for physics, 40 for chemistry, And there was no negative marking, The written exams were chosen the correct answer type.
