Remarks
NIT ARUNACHAL PRADESH having much scope in future as its new permanent campus has being constructed & starting offline classes of batch 2020-2024 soon from the new campus probably from august according to the notification from college officials. BAD ASPECT is that the college was established in 2010 & still its own permanent campus has not constructed completely but this year we gonna complete & going to start all activities from new permanent campus & this new campus is located in jote which is remote area & located in the forest, one can see greenery everywhere around campus. I got allotted NIT Arunachal Pradesh as it is one of the developing NIT may be good scope in future after permanent campus so I selected this nit Arunachal Pradesh. At the time of counselling COLLEGEDUNIA played a major role to choose colleges order according to their ranking, package, placements etc.
Course Curriculum Overview
I got allotted ECE department in the counselling, Faculty & student ratio is good but few lectures given by guest faculty & few with PhD scholars in 1st year. Faculty is good as per their qualifications every has done their masters, PhDs. At present, it is online so it's a little difficult for students & also to faculties to meet the expecxtati0ns of everyone who might be perfect offline. Exams online are 1. Mid semester & 2. End semester quizzes and assignments in between few subject papers are not as what they thought in online class but others are good.
Placement Experience
From the 8th semester, one is eligible for placements. Companies that visit NIT ARUNACHAL PRADESH are L&T Infotech, Infosys, L&T constructions, Capgemini, Vedanta, virtusa, cognizant, McAfee, value labs, Samsung. placement rate is around 60 -70 %.
Fees and Financial Aid
The average Fee is 80,000 per semester for general, 17,000 for sc/st/below 1 lakh income, those whose income is between 1 to 5 lakh is 40,000. NSP scholarship is available for students. nsp scholarship provides laptop money for ST students if one keeps it in the application will be refunded next year by NSP.
Campus Life
ADOVEDI & ATHULYAM are the two fests conducted in NIT Arunachal Pradesh every year. college staff said that in new campus there is a big & large library with many books for students. classrooms are big &b good enough in the new campus. Sports & extracurricular activities are to be held in a good manner after shifting to a new campus from this year 2021 said to the college administration.
