It's nearer to my home and admission was on a merit basis, I got to know from my local friend in Jaipur about Poornima and the reviews were quite good. So I opt for Poornima also because I heard the study and faculty are nice.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum was quite disappointing and the faculties are mostly with Dr and professors they are good but the guest faculties are much better. Exams are not much tough and the syllabus nicely defined.
Internships Opportunities
Yes, there are numbers of internship offerings on university mail and even paid internships are also approaching students to get selected for that internships too. In my department mostly internships in marketing, HR, Sales and the internship period starts from the end of 2nd year of BCom (during summer vacation).
Placement Experience
The number of placement is not much in my department (BCom, BBA) but the placement of other courses are satisfying mostly BTech students, hotel management students and MBA students get 90% placement and with 6-8-10 lac per annum.
Fees and Financial Aid
The scholarship is given based on the 12th board results. My total fees were 45000 and I got a scholarship of 45% as because I got admission in the month of July. If I got admission in May -June I would be getting a 60% scholarship and cgpa should be maintained in the first year and second year to get the same percent onwards. Poornima increase their fees every year for freshers my fees were 45k and our Junior's fees are 52k.
Campus Life
I'm hosteller at Poornima girl's hostel, the environment there is quite good but sometimes mess food becomes disappointing and even mess of girls is not attached to hostel it's on 500m walking distance it becomes suffer during the time of weakness or being ill.
Hostel Facilities
Hostels are mostly double seater and there are rooms of ducting facilities, Ac facilities, fan only and fees vary respectively. Wardens are supportive and security is good there. Meal quality sometimes disappointing but better than other hostels. The locality is not good because the university is situated in an industrial area and rural area. So hard to find a market and good city life. But Amazon, Myntra, big basket like all online shopping mode available there.
