Entrance Preview

I appeared for AIEEE exam and my parents want to pursue engineering in computers and Sharda was making lot of publicity by advertisements , and their manipulative behaviour attract my parents to join the college regardless of fee structure.

Course Curriculum Overview

2

The subjects we are studying are equal to or even more higher comparative to other renewed colleges(IIT , BITS and NIT) but college neve gave us the opportunity to have internships in good companies , due lad of fame of college nobody knows us and lack of field and live projects we were able to learn the things but not able to understand How.

Internships Opportunities

No our college don't provide us internship , we ourselves have to go door to door to get us the internship other wise we were not able to get pass in the semester. infact most of the students not able to get any internship , they rested at home for 2 months and after that they went on to buy the projects from tuition centres inorder to get pass.

Placement Experience

1.5

Lots of companies visited the college during the placement times but not even a single company was offering the job profiles which as a designated engineer will want to have , and intact 2-3 renewed companies came because of our hard-work , one of our placement admin (selected by students within the students) tried hard to get one good company call for us , but they also come to hire 1-2 students only and out of 500-600 students how will you able to achieve that if you are not too much dedicated and of-coure in every college the percentage of those students are less than 10.

College Events

4

Event wise also my college attracts me in the beginning , they used to call big celebrities name to the college , our chorus was famous all over NCR , but again they lack in having tech events and even if some few events we there in which they didn't do anything which will mold the students to have it on the mandatory basis , infant that was optional and sagain those 10-15% students of particular kind which i mentioned above takes part from each batch ,and for the rest the tech fest was kind of celebrating holidays or have a trip to visit their home.

Fee Structure And Facilities

As a private college it was expensive but cheaper comparative to Amity and lovely , which are kind of their competitors , and they also gave admission to students who were like not getting admission in any other college and didi't have good ranks in competitive exams , in the students who are good , bright , gave competitive exams have some commendable rank and other d grade students , the difference id just 50,000/- , they have to pay just 50,000 extra than the a,b, grade students and then both are same . they weighted the good rank of the students with d grade students with money which costs only 50,000/- just because they are not running any educational institution they are doing their business ignored to make money.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship was not given to anyone ,infant they didn't gave any discount or fee leverage to the students whose dad's are expired and their mom are housewife, My dad expired when i was in first year and my mom was housewife , they did't bother about our family conditions , i went to each and every higher official in my college to have some fee leverages , even to PK Gupta (Founder of sharda) , they didn't even entertain me for a minute .so , in the end i and my family have to somehow arrange the fee. It was my family task to start saving money year before paying.

Campus Life

3

Campus life was awesome, any student who thinks or imagine the college life in dreams that kind of life was there in Sharda . gender ratio is also almost average rather than in Mechanical and civil branch which are famous for gender ratio and our college is kind of university so there are lot of students with whom who have your good social contact and diversity wise as they called themselves Global University so yes we had students from abroad , infant almost from every part of India so we have the opportunity to experience and gulf with different religion and caste people to get more modernized , the only thing i liked the most about my college because that kind of atmosphere gives you openness , confidence and lot of courage to experience new things in the future.

Hostel Facilities

1.5

Hostel facilities are the worst , our college treats us as the general compartment of the train in which you didn't have to realise how may seats are there and how many passengers are travelling in that compartment , they just gave the ticket and rest is on you how you will accommodate . Its like they didn't calculate how many students are getting enrolled and how may rooms for particular batch they have to give them accommodation. And don't take to mess food , its was much worst than everything else . They just gave us the food and didn't think either it will be good in taste or not , just saving their ass by putting hostel food background in the frame and said - in every college the mess food is just like that , you have to resit what you are getting , one time they made paneer sabji and use water from the sewage or somewhere , whoever student eat that food was suffering from food poisoning , we had a hospital of our own , so next day mostly every room was occupied because all the hostlers were hospitalized there and yes again they had a good hospital business by making such food , indirectly they were in profit.

Alumni/Alumna

Almuni wise as i explained above year by year our alumni staff was getting degraded , we only 1-2 professors who are smart and know how to make students wrathful in there lives , i will tag my teacher (TP Singh) , he was the only one who attracted me the most by his sheer dedication towards students and motivation to make students to have interest in his subject , I got 5 marks our of 20 in monthly tests and then i got 38 marks our of 40 in my final exams , this is the kind of attitude he gave me after he get to know i scored 5 in weekly test.

Exam Structure

Exam structure is one by which i m attracted to my college , they are tough and competitive but as year by year goes , and our subjects needs more good innovated teaching by teachers and learning by students , teachers get to understand we are not up to that mark because from inside they knows they didn't teach us to that company level studies , so our exams are getting more theoretical rather than practical.Like i was the student of Computer science and in the starting not everyone get to understand coding at the first time unless they were pushed hard by their teachers assignments and college's exam level, they used to make exams more theoretical rather practical during our 2nd year last semester and 3rd , 4th year when coding is the only thing which as a CS engineer we have to experienced more and learn more but we were not of afraid of our exam and coding because we know there will like 10-15% questions based on coding in our exams which we can easily omit out in our optional questions.

Faculty

2

Faculties changes the whole architecture of the college's fame . As year by year our teachers level start degrading. our teachers just told us this can be done and this can't but never tell us the reason why because they also don't know , they just copy the slides from google and take the lectures.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I want to be a software developer. The faculty are very kind and helpful. Almost every faculty member has completed there post-graduation from various established colleges. The examination scheme is a little bit slow here. Students can pass their semester exams if they are paying at least 45 per cent of their concentration.
