Best review of FET RBS, Agra

There are various reasons for choosing this college. I wanted to take a college in my home town, so I preferred this college i.e. RAJA BALWANT SINGH ENGINEERING TECHNICAL CAMPUS, BICHPURI, AGRA. It is situated on the outskirts of Agra city near village Bichpuri. Our college is well known and established name in the field of technical education. It provides a wide variety of courses including B.Tech, M.Tech, and B.Pharm. It was started in 1996 with branches of CSE, ECE, and FT. We have a very big library which is enriched with the latest editions of books and e-books from well-known national and foreign authors, weekly magazines and journals and newspapers. But library management is not up to the mark and time-consuming.

Our college is affiliated with Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow. The courses are in line with the guidelines of AICTE and UGC. B.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering is a professional course and gives you a chance to learn about computers, architecture, networks, programming, software development, and many more things. I chose this course as I was interested in computers and this digital world. The student: faculty ratio is 50:1 and all the faculties are professors and teachers and fully trained in teaching the students. Teaching methods include delivering lectures through slide shows using projectors, using blackboards when necessary and the students take notes of what is being taught. The exams are scheduled in such a way that in each semester we have a total of 3 internals(2 minors and 1 Pre-University test) and finally University External Exam. If you will study you will pass this is the only funda which exists for everyone.

From the 7th semester, the students become eligible for sitting for placements provided by various companies. Some companies are HCL, Genpact, JustDial, C-Zentrix New Delhi, Binary Semantics, Athmin Technologies Noida, FareLabs Gurgaon, Marquis Technologies Noida, Kudos Softwares Kota, Byjus, Lark Laboratories, Regeneration Technologies Chandigarh, CryoViva Gurgaon, OLX, MakeMyTrip, and many more. The companies offer around 2-3 LPA packages and around 60 % of the students get placed every year.

The fee of our college is 72,500 + exam fee (approx 80,000) per year. The students are assisted by the scholarship provided by the govt. of Uttar Pradesh through Scholarship and Fee Reimbursement Online System. There are various internships and training going on in our college and the college also sends students for internship programs. We have a dedicated placement cell in our college which helps and assists students in getting placement and internships. The cell also conducts Personality Development Classes timely for all students. From the placement record of the year, 2020-21 over 60 % of students were placed from the college.

There are a number of fests and events going on in the college throughout the year. Abhiyudaya is the name of the Annual Fest which is held every year. There are events for the freshers called the Induction programme, Talent Hunt, Parichay event etc. University level championships and tournaments are organised by the University yearly which includes Zonal Sports Fest, Cultural Fest, Science Fest etc. A lot of conferences and workshops go on throughout the year. There are two types of societies in our college viz. Students Societies and Departmental Societies. Departmental societies are related to various departments present in our college, there are 10 departmental societies - Computer, Electronic, Chemical, Food, Mechanical, Biotech, Pharma, Civil, Electrical and Architecture. There are 4 students societies viz. Literary, Cultural, Sports, hobby Club. Apart from studies, the students are involved in the events and fest and it gives them a chance to improve their personality.
