Remarks

The location of the college is prime being in the IT hub of India Bangalore with a lot of on-campus and of campus opportunity through the curriculum of the college is really hectic and very old being useless in practical fields. The college lags beings visited by good companies and MOUs with a foreign university, which improves college diversity. The admission is done through comedy examination on the national level, KCET AT the state level, and through management quota. One should prefer this college for CSE, ISE, and ECE branch being at strategic position one can find a good job and even good anchor investors for the funding of one's startup. I referred to collegedunia and Shiksha while selecting the college.

Course Curriculum Overview

1

I chose ECE as it's among the trending field in Nation and has good scope for future jobs and further studies. Faculty here is rarely good and merely grade-specific being nonmotivating for industrial knowledge and further examinations. The faculty and student ratio is poor on campus. Teachers are all PhD though are from 3rd tier colleges and very few 3-4 from IIT and reputed institute. The teaching method is school-based and quite hectic doesn't give students time for creativity and developing skills. The term exams are timely and really hectic without much break and difficult to pass if one knows a little.

Internships Opportunities

2.5

Companies like Infosys, TCS, JP morgan, etc offer internship opportunities with an average stipend in the range of 10k. Many projects are given on campus like waste reduction with software development to contribute to plastic waste management.

Placement Experience

2.5

Placement in the college campus is decent not very good but okay with many major mass recruiters coming to campus to recruit a major chunk of students and some good companies visiting the campus as well. Companies like ABB, ICICI SECURITIES, JP MORGAN, ORACLE, MICROSOFT ETS visited the campus. The highest package stood at 24 LPA and the average package offers at 7.5 LPA with profiles of marketing, IT, Consultancy etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is really high considering the facilities they provide. The fee they show upon Comedk site doesn't comprise of hidden fees that are charged at the time of admission. Living expenses are affordable. Name of scholarships are Merit and Means scholarship, Krishna P Godasi Scholarship which are only for Kcet aspirants (only Karnataka state residents) Financial assistance is next to zero. Majorly Mass recruiters visit the campus with very few being placed in good companies. Most people apply off-campus. The average package is 7.5 lac as quoted on the website. Stipend in around 5k.

Campus Life

2

UDBHAV is the name of our annual fest and EMPYREAL Tech Fest MSRIT in November With a footfall of 15000. The library is decent with all major books available along with journals and magazine subscriptions. The classrooms aren't as per expectation from a reputed college with a normal bench chair system with chalkboards and no ACs. Sports facilities aren't good there isn't a physical ground on campus and the equipment aren't available we have to bring our own. Extracurricular activities are good with many active clubs organizing various activities throughout the year. Clubs like IEEE and entrepreneurship development clubs are really great and active.
