Poornima College Of Engineering has emerged as one the best private engineering institution in Rajasthan over the past 15 years. It has been ranked 2nd among private engineering colleges by Rajasthan Technical University (RTU) all over Rajasthan. It is affiliated with AICTE, RTU and NBA. It has 2 other daughter institutions Poornima Institute of Engineering and Technology (PIET) and the Poornima Group of Institutions (PGI). The college seems very good In the field of education. It has all the necessary facilities like world-class infrastructure and equipment, smart classrooms and laboratories, sports centre and hostel facility, transportation facility, high-speed internet and above all discipline. The admissions are taken by REAP counselling only based on JEE Mains score and 12th boards performance. It offers all core branch options for Bachelors in technology. I preferred this college because of its renowned quality education and its rank among top institutions.

Poornima College of Engineering offers B.Tech in all six core branches which are Computer Science and Engineering, Information Technology Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. I choose B.Tech in Electrical Engineering a four yearlong classroom program. All the Faculty members are well educated and are an alumnus of top IITs and NITs. The teaching methodology of the faculty is vital but very easy to understand. All the subjects and topics that need a practical approach to understand are explained in laboratories with full equipment available. There exist two midterms theory as well practical exams and end-term university examination in one semester.

Poornima College of Engineering and its Training and placement cell (TPO) plays a key role in getting every student placed on good packages accordingly. More than 15+ big names like Infosys, TCS, IBM, Pinnacle Infotech, Capgemini, Genpact, Shriram Finance etcetera visit campus for placement drive and hiring process. College helps every student for getting a good job according to the students and their academics.

There are no fee hikes done by the college itself. The fee structure is decided by the affiliated institute Rajasthan Technical University. The fee is the same for all the affiliated colleges in RTU, an extra 3000/- Rs are charged as NBA fee once in a 4-year program.

Campus life at Poornima College of Engineering is very good. This is a 4 day annual cultural and technology fest named AAROHAN, an annual tech fest AADHAR. There are dozens of seminars and meets held throughout the year. It has over a dozen cultural and technical clubs, even there are clubs related to every branch and specialisation. Club meetings held every week in the last lecture hour of Wednesday or Saturday. There are several sports club and college teams which represents the college in various tournaments. Coming to the library and availability of books the central library of Poornima College of Engineering is a member of NDLI and other renowned national library groups and institutions. There are over 15+ newspaper and 30+ weekly and monthly magazines available in different languages generally English and Hindi.
