Entrance Preview
I didn't took any examinations, through counseling I have chosen my college as Vel Tech High Tech engineering college. I had a option of three colleges to choose from and I have chosen vel tech because of it's placement offers and very good atmosphere.
Course Curriculum Overview
B. E Electronics and Communication engineering (Ece). The course offers a wide range electives where we will get elective subject as well to focus on other department subjects as well during our course. First semester we will be getting the subjects from basic things that we have learned in our high secondary with Two subjects on the course we have selected basic subjects and then every semester we will be getting other department subjects as elective subject.
Internships Opportunities
Yes, my college will provide internship the companies will be Hcl, Wipro, etc. The maximum stipend will be 8k per month.
Placement Experience
As per in class, nearly 50% will be placed and the companies will be Wipro, Hcl, Csc where their max offer will be 4.8l per annum. Mostly everyone will be placed in 4th year that is 7th semester and after that college will be focused on getting placement for the students who were not placed earlier.
College Events
For every year we will be having each department cultural programs and one annual cultural program with all departments together and there will be technical seminar as well every months will be took place in each departments. For each festival there will be huge functions in my college and more importantly we will be having sports cultural events as well.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fees structure will be quite expensive during my period as well. Where there will be separate fees for counseling students and management students, for counseling students it will 35k per year and for management it will be 60k per year. These are college fees where we need to pay our exam fees separately and there will be a fees for general breakage, etc.
Fees and Financial Aid
My college will be providing scholarship where the applicable students are counseling students they will be getting every half of their fees and they will be eligible if they are first person to be educated in their home. And for transportation for every one they will arrange monthly government bus tricky cards which will be renewed every month.
Campus Life
As gender wise male will be 70% in all departments expect biotechnology female will be more than 80%. As I mentioned every month there will be a work shop in each departments and it's possible that students from other departments as well can participate.
Hostel Facilities
As I mentioned earlier, hostel fee will be 35k per semester and rooms are available plenty as well so shortage as far as rooms are concerned. Moving on to foods it's quite good not an average, because my college will be particular in providing low cost food as well as hygienic.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes every year there will be a alumni program for each departments which will be conducted separately and yes it will be useful in many ways.
Exam Structure
In my college, for every unit there will be a cycle test including placement test. There will be mock test of one question daily for 15 mins at starting of each period as well. Moving on to the lab we will be having lab test even two weeks and there will be a 3 model exams including lab before the semester begins and we will be getting 12 days of study holidays as well.
Faculty
Faculty we got for separate subject was they are particularly into that subject only i,e. They are degree holders in those subjects and every month they will be going on for a subject assessment from student as well. So if a particular faculty is not suitable and my college make sure that we will get a faculty according to the subject.
