My college experience

G. Pulla Reddy engineering college(AUTONOMOUS) is the best and reputational college in the Rayalaseema region. It is affiliated with JNTUA For most of the +2 studying students, it is a dream to study in such type of college. The good aspects of our college are providing quality education with promising staff, procuring scholarship for the poor students for their urgencies, furnishing with a lot of opportunities in a different forum, they always focus on the 360 development of the students. I can say there are hardly any bad aspects to define College. We have to go through the EMCET Counselling and apply for the college. The best Emcet scored students will get a seat in the college. According to dates of government will providing for engineering colleges and universities that date enough to enclose. At first, I came to know about college is going through the official website I.e www.gprec.ac.in. in that they provided information regarding branch wise and faculty information as well.

Since childhood, I have a dream to become mechanical engineering. If you are believing to take the Mechanical engineering branch in B.Tech then it is the best college among all-state colleges. Because in this college they will provide you with all kinds of equipment and proficiency. Faculty: student ratio is fairly good. For every 5 members of the class, you will retain a separate mentor to guide you to further education. In this college, they provide highly qualified staff to teach the scholars. They teach will by adopting new technology that the students can easily under the standard it. Generally, in the engineering colleges and universities, they have 2 midterms and 1 seem exam including a lab exam (internal and external). The papers are standard no too easy and not too difficult to jot down. If you prepare well you can pass the exam.

CTS is the company that offers an internship to our college students especially those who are placed or selected for the company. And some of the course which offers the internship in on campus. As I'm in my third year I have not yet done with my major project i.e to become about in the fourth year (8th sem). But, at present, I have done my minor project. I have worked on a project namely called a Ramp pump. The outcome to clarify the tasks are handling by the staff of the college who are allocated to you for project mentor. They help us the full-fledged way to get an idea or technique for the project needed etc.

From the semester of 6th students are eligible for campus placements. Companies like Wipro, Infosys, TCS, CTS, DXTIC, Mahindra tech, Hyundai and other companies regarding the branch of group-wise of the college. On average the total number of students are placed is around 600/750 students. The highest package offered is 9 lac per annum, this will get those who are good at coding or strong in their core field. The total average package of overall college is 4.5 lac per annum. The percentage of students getting placement is near to 70 to 80 percentage of the total college students. My plans after getting the degree are to study PG (Post Graduation) either MS or M.Tech.

Generally, the tuition fees of our college are significantly fair i.e paying 80k to 90k INR per year and there will be a separate fee hostel. It will be near 55k to 60k per year. Hiking of the fees comparatively less than comparing to other private institutions. As we are studying in Andhra Pradesh, the ruling party of government providing a full fees reimbursement of tuition fees and also contributing up to 20k INR for personal necessities for poor people. The scholarship namely called jnana bhumi, which they used to release the DOA date of applications. In the deadlines, we should fill the form accordingly to what they have asked in the website application. The website is janabhumi.ap.gov.in. In every college, there will be financial assistance who used to take care of the responsibility of reimbursement of the students. He is the person who coordinates all the work regarding the scholarship of the student.

In G. Pulla Reddy Engineering College, the annual fest will be conducted once a year in February, the annual fest namely called Udaan and the tech fest namely called Jginyasa. Availability of books and journals in the library is more. In our college library is the biggest asset. It is located in central of college where you can get every book of the department is available and again there will be separate department library in which journals and other stuff is available. Amenities in classrooms are neat and clean which much enough to sit 60 students in each. In our college, there will more no opportunities be there for the side of sports and extracurricular activities. In our college, there will be clubs namely called T&P, EDC, Coders, English, IEEE, NSS, VCS etc. for which there will be drives for the selection for a certain group. In social media like Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn etc is runs by our college students for providing information about the college.

The rooms of the hostel are larger and free space providing a separate desk for each student and providing the bed as well. Rooms are sanitized once in two days. The quality of the food is not too good and not too bad, we can wear down nutrition. In hostel non-veg items are not cooked. All the veg item has been served. The registration process for a hostel is, at first we have met the hostel coordinator and he will explain all the thing we need. After that, we have to pay challan in the bank. The middle class can afford the hostel fees I.e it will around 60k per year. Generally, the fees of the PG hostel is less compared to the college hostel. And the test of the food is decent. The living space of the room is clumsy. The fees of the PG is 4k INR per month. In that weakly twice, once egg and chicken is served respectively.
