Choosing wisely

As we all know Chaitanya Bharati Institute of Technology is the top-ranked private college in Telugu states. And the placements of this college are excellent. I choosed this because of 3 reasons. Firstly, CBIT is the top-ranked college. Secondly, its academics are very good, and finally placements. The campus is very big and I love to explore everything so I choosed this college which has greenery everywhere. If you are a nature lover then CBIT is the best place. Note: Don't expect everything will be like a happy days movie.

Coming to faculty, there is no doubt everyone is well experienced and well knowledged. Most of the faculty are doctorates in their respective subject. Now recently they added new courses too and I'm also a student of a new course i.e; CSE (IoT and Cybersecurity including Blockchain technology). Because of these new courses, there is a shortage of faculty but hope this will be resolved soon. Don't worry you'll not miss a single class. Teachers spend extra time teaching all classes. You'll have to rate your faculty every semester through the official student account given by CBIT. And if you have any problem regarding faculty you can contact HOD they'll try their best to resolve it. We had mid exams after every 2 months because of this COVID 19 pandemic we had very little time to complete the semester. And that was not very tough.

Internships are offered too by top companies which recruits students who complete 2 years of academics and more. They pay you a good amount. I don't know much about this as I'm very new and didn't hear much about this internships but overall it is good.

Placements in CBIT is damn good. Many companies come to CBIT to offer placements. Many companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Accenture, TCS offer a high package. The highest package in 2020-21 is 43 lakh offered by Microsoft. The average package is around 8-10 lakh and the least package is 3.5 - 4 lakh. Any student who scores an average CGPA of 7.0 or above can attend campus placements interviews. They say about 87-91% of students get placed every year. So we need to maintain a good CGPA and remember you don't need to top the academics to get placement. Have fun and study well.

Coming to fee structure it is 1,36,000 per year. But if you get a good rank and if you belong to the reservation category then your full fee will be reimbursed by the government only if you are eligible to all the conditions that your family income should be less than 2 lakh for SC and ST. It should be less than some 1,50,000 for OBC categories then 35,000 of the fee will be reimbursed by govt. And if you get a very good rank and eligible for reimbursement then don't worry your fee will be reimbursed. You have to pay the semester exam fee that will be around 4500. And no other additional fee I paid till now. I'll update if any.

Campus life is just awesome. You'll have many programs to participate in and enjoy. There will be a cultural and annual fest called Shruthi and tech fest Sudhee where you can have full atleast for 5 days. Shruthi event will be celebrated 2 days. This year due to COVID Pandemic they made it online but we would have rock if it is offline. There are many clubs in CBIT and each of them has its own speciality. You'll definitely enjoy joining them. CBIT has a huge library that has some 1,30,000 books and journals. You can get access to them after they issue you an ID card you need not pay any money for that. You can go and study anytime there. Our college has a complete building for sports called sports complex. Much importance is given to physical health. A big cricket ground, football ground, basketball court, volleyball ground, badminton court and whatnot. You also have a complete floor for indoor games like carrom board, chess, table tennis you'll enjoy that.

The eligibility to get a seat in CBIT is based on EAMCET ranks. And there is also B categories of seats. Those who got seat through EAMCET and don't want to study in this college will cancel their admission so this student will be alloted to the B category so students who got good percentile in mains can get a chance to study in this college. There will be no interview nothing but you need to have patience at the time of counselling and the admission procedure may take half a day. You just need to rock TS EAMCET.
