Review on IIIT-A

It has a good coding environment as it is a pure tech college. It has a very good placement percentage and the highest packages offered are also good (around 50 lakhs CTC). The average package is also very good around 21 lakhs. Seniors are very helpful here. But the timetable is a little hectic. Admission is done through Josaa counseling after jee mains and advanced. In josaa counseling, you have to fill your choices of preferences of college and pay some amount of money as part of your college fee which you will get after counseling. After you got IIITA in josaa counseling you have to report to the college or visit the college's official site where you can get all information regarding your admission and fee payment. After fee payment, you have to submit some documents which will be demanded by college authorities. Once all the formalities are done you will get admitted. I preferred this college as I had to do coding and it has a great coding culture. Also, placements are good and there is less crowd.

I had chosen IT as I had to do coding. But also there is an ece branch in our college so we have to read some courses of ece branch in the first year. The faculty: student is not so good as it is around 1:40. Faculties are young but know most are phd. The exams are taken regularly as it is a continuous evaluation system in the college. In online semesters it is easy to pass exams also many assignments help in passing a lot.

There are many internship opportunities offered in college from the 5th semester and onwards. Our seniors had got 2 lakhs per month internship in sprinkler company and 1.5 lakh per month in dsaw company. Also, they give pre-placement offers based on your work.

From the 6th semester onwards, students are eligible for campus placement. Also, they get internships from different companies. In 2020 the placement percentage was very good approx. 96%.The highest package was 51 lakhs offered to 5 students by Atlassian. The average package was approx 21 lakhs. There are 120+ companies visited on our campus including all big companies like google, amazon, etc.

Fees get increased by 10% per academic year. There is a full fee scholarship on tution fee for sc/st category students. The total fee for b.tech would be around 6-7 lakhs. Also, you can get a scholarship based on your academic performance.

There is gymkhana in our college. Fest is done regularly. The annual fest is Aparoksha held in starting of April. The annual fest is Effervescence held in September. There is also a sports fest named Asmita held in February. There are many societies like drama societies, music societies, literary societies, etc. There are many societies based on tech like web wing on web development. Apply wing on app development, foss wing for open source community, etc. There is a library where you can get books to read.

As told by seniors, the hostel facility is good within the gym facility. Mess is also good, there is seperate food for veg and non-veg food. We do not have to register for the hostel and mess apart from admissions. It is automatically selected.
