Remarks
As with all other IITs IIT Kanpur also has very many resources and the admission process is after clearing JEE Advanced. I preferred it because it was the best in my rank range and I used collegedunia and jossa website for comparison between colleges.
Course Curriculum Overview
I Choose Computer science and engineering because as of today's demand it was one of the most scoped streams. The faculty-student ratio is quite good and all faculties are well qualified and there are some problems with term exams because faculties make exams harder.
Internships Opportunities
Internships in IIT Kanpur were excellent students who could able to take internships in their first year onwards. And most of them were paid internships there are companies like Google, Microsoft these come with a good stipend and there are projects also guided by seniors for freshers so that they can know how things work.
Placement Experience
Campus placement was also good in IIT Kanpur and IIT Kanpur achieved 100% placements and there were very good packages are there like this year's highest package was 1.47 crore and domastic package was 82 lacs after degree, my plan also was to take campus placement.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fee structure mainly depends on family income as if income is less than one lakh then tuition fee is zero and if it is between one lakh to five lakh then it is 66666 per year and if above five lakh per year then it is 200000 per year. other than this there are too many scholarships like the MCM scholarship.
Campus Life
The most enjoyable thing in IITs is fest and clubs. In IIT Kanpur's annual fest is Antaragni and tech fest is Techkriti. In the library there was an ocean of books are there there are above three lakh books are there. and in sports, there was a sports fest also name Udghosh and IIT has all sports facility available.
Hostel Facilities
As per the price of hostel and mess, there is too good room and food quality. in rooms, there is no AC but there is wifi and high-speed internet LAN is available in every room and food quality is very good and very hygienic.
