Remarks
Firstly the Nirf ranking of this college is good and Overall infrastructure and facilities are good. Also, it is near to my home town. But there are some cons also as they mainly focus only on academics and also their attendance criteria is 85% which I feel very bad. Infrastructure is good but not many facilities were there in campus The admission is done on basis of JEE + Board marks and also on Gujcet marks.
Course Curriculum Overview
I had choosen the Electronic and communication course because I am interested in hardware programming and there are only a few colleges in the north who provide ece course. In this course, you will learn both electrical and cse course subjects. The ece course is a bit tough but if you like then this college is best. Faculties were are good not best. MOSTLY the faculties were not IITian or nation but all have good experience in teaching so it is good. Timely the examination was conducted and the level was also good. Here relative marking criteria is their so you don't exactly know your actual marks from the semester grade report.
Placement Experience
Campus placement is good. Many companies came like Nvidia, Wipro, Infotech, cognizant. You will get placement on basis of your grade report as a minimum of 7-8 spi is needed to seat in the placement interview. After semester 6 means at the end of the 3rd-year company arrived at college for internship and based on your performance in your 2-3 months internship you may get full-time work in that company. The average of students placed in ece department is around 80%. This is less because some students were interested in Startups and some were interested in Future abroad studies so they don't sit in college placement. I plan to take a job after studies if I get the job according to my requirement.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are many categories for joining the courses. By jee marks, by Gujcet marks, NRI CATEGORY, NRI SPONSORED CATEGORY, and Gulf category. So accordingly you get addmission. The fee structure for Jee category is around 2lakh per year, for the NRI category and NRI sponsored category it is 6500 dollars per year. The scholarship was also provided by the college on basis of financial need and your semester grade report. You will also get on-campus placement easily as many companies came here.
Campus Life
Social Life is not much good as College mainly focuses on academics. The college had no interest in any social functions. But many clubs were there which were operated by students. On behalf of the college, NUtech is arranged and some fest was also thereby different departments like mesa, vaudeville. A well-set library is also there with many Journal books and papers. Ieee paper was also available. For sports cricket, football, tennis, badminton was there. The gym is also there. The electronic and communication department has a club name ECO run by students only who also conduct some events.
