My Views On Dr. Akhilesh Das Gupta Institute Of Technology & Managment

My college comes under Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi (GGSIPU). My college is formerly known as Northern India Engineering College. it was established in 2003 by the BBD Educational Society. Awarded A Grade by GGSIPU. Admission in this college takes place by counselling rounds and it is mandatory to give JEE without which you cannot get admission in this college and admission procedure and counselling is always delayed and it consumes more time and you have to be patient to get admission in this college. As far as admission to my branch you will easily get a seat. But there is though competition in branches like CSE, IT, ECE. you have to score too high in JEE to get seats in these branches. The branches of B.Tech available in my college are CSE, IT, ECE, ME, MAE, Civil, EEE. And BBA &MBA courses are also there. All admission is done through counselling few seats are also available for Management Quota. Sports facilities are nice college participates in the various sports event.

I think this is the only college that offers various branches of B.Tech in GGSIPU. Faculty are quite good in ratio. Most of the faculty are PhD holder or pursuing their PhD. Quality of teaching is also good but now they are teaching online so it is a hard time for us and them but they are giving their best. But college authority should buy software or a platform like CODETRANTRA or any other platform so to conduct a study smoothly. Exams are not that difficult faculty advise you to clear your doubts daily and study daily. Practicals are done very nicely all apparatus and equipment are there for us.

There are so many companies that come to this college for Campus Placements. They recruit so many students from all branches. CSE, IT, ECE has more numbers of students that got jobs. Companies like Microsoft, Shopee, TCS, Byju's, Infosys, Oppo Mobile, Justdial, Canara and a lot of other companies come. The highest package is 33 lakh per annum Given by Shopee to a CSE student of 2016-2020 batch student.

The fee is 118800 per year for B.TECH and we have to submit it in a single transaction payment only through NEFT &DD are accepted fine is also collected if submitted late. Fee Structure is Tuition Fee:97800 University Fee:15000 Student Activity Fee:1000 Security:5000 And there is a different fee structure for BBA &MBA. As my college comes under GGSIPU there are plenty of scholarships. All scholarships which are given by Delhi Government are applicable in this college. Campus placements are good 80% of eligible students get jobs as said by the college authority. Many students also cleared various competitive exams.

The campus is around 9-10 acres. Our is very active in respects. Freshers and annual fest are conducted every year and many celebraties have performed in our college. And there are so many clubs and societies to get enrolled in that you will be confused to select one. The library is nice as you can get any book issued. And Book bank is also is available where you can take semester books on lease and return them when the semester ends. My college is hyperactive in sports and extracurricular activities. The football ground is very nice. The basketball court is also there, Badminton court is also there, Indoor games are also there, The cricket ground is also there. The Gokart race is also organised in our college.
