Remarks
Good thing is, for IT sector desired students we have very nice placements but for mechanical we have one or two companies like Mahindra that too 15000 salaries per month for the role of CATIA software engineer. Coming to the faculty only 50% of faculty gives the best to the students. Course Curriculum Overview
Mechanical has a good number of vacancies in PSU's that's why I had chosen this .as mentioned only 50 to 70% of faculty gives their 100% to the students. We have both PhD and m.tech qualified faculty. Every subject has separate faculty I.e college has a good number of faculty. 180 mechanical students are the input for every year.
Placement Experience
From the 3rd year 2 semester, u get the placements. For IT placements, college is the best and very nice placements. For IT jobs college offers training to the students in 2nd year itself. Packages for IT jobs start from 3 lakhs to 9 lakhs. It all depends on you that how many packages you get but for mechanical students core companies does not come to the college, even though they come, they offer only about 15k per month.so, mechanical has 1 to 2 companies offer placements to the students with a very little package to settle better in life you can go through the preparation for competitive exams in 3rd year itself. Exams like GATE, ESE, RRB, BANK EXAMS, AE POSTS.
Fees and Financial Aid
For fee reimbursement students we have full fee reimbursement. For management quota students they need to pay an 80000 per year college fee. Scholarships like NSP from the government is available for eligible students. Mechanical students has fewer chances of getting core job in campus itself. Students need to go out for a job search.
Campus Life
This college has an annual fest generally it was conducted in the month of March .college has both a central library and a department library. For the book, the central library gives 3 cards for each student by the student can get 3 books at a time and the validity for them is 14 days. The college has an e-library also, we can get the previous paper from that. Extra books like GATE, ESC, RRB books also available here.
Hostel Facilities
The college hostel is located very near to the college for boys and girls. For boys, the fee is 65000 per year excluding caution fee and building fees. Meals quality is average. Hot water available in the morning times .average quality wifi is available. For joining the hostel you need to consult the college faculty. Instead of the college hostel, there are many other hostels that are present near to the college their fee is about 45000 per year but the basic difference between the college hostel and the other hostel is space in the room. The college has very good rooms. Two lights and two fans and four sockets for 4 students per room. They allocate 4 students per room. TV room also their in college hostel.
